Lone Star Steakhouse is donating all sales on Labor day to Katrina relief...

According to our local Lone Star Steakhouse they will be donating total sales on Labor day to the Katrina Relief Fund. They also said that their corporation owns Sullivan's Steakhouse & Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House and that it will include those resturants too. They specified that it was total sales, not profits and that they did this after 911 also. So you can go eat a good steak and donate to the Katrina relief fund at the same time on labor day.

Our local Lone Star had an ad in the paper today saying the same thing, good for them!

I remember our local Outback did this after 9/11 and the wait staff even donated all their tips as well. We went and had an early supper because we figured it would be packed with people wanting to help during the regular dinner times... Just another way that we can all help out.

Thank God for the general public.. It's amazing how quickly they have swung into action.. We should all remember to patronize these places in the future - even the "dreaded" Walmart that has now contributed 15 million dollars.. :flower:

We have none of the above in our area so no one around here will be contributing by eating there, but I give them 2 thumbs way up for the effort. I hope they raise a lot!
