I know that six people are allowed on a site, but how many tents are allowed?

Actually, it's 10 people per site. Two adults and 8 children are included in the price of the site. Any adults over two incurs a $2 per night charge.

As far as number of tents, it doesn't matter as long as they fit within the dimensions of your sand pad and driveway. You can not set up anything outside the "square" of your site. (Staking lines outside your area is OK, but nothing can physically be on the ground outside your area). You also cannot move your picnic table outside the "square" to make more room for your stuff.

I hope this helps.

Your signature indicates you are staying at the cabins in 2006. Those are 6 people per cabin and no tents can be set up on the cabin sites. There is really no need for tents at cabin sites as each cabin has a double bed, a bunk bed, and a pull out Murphy bed. A full kitchen, a deck with a grill.

Tents can only be set up at the camping sites.

We stayed at the fort in a tent with some friends at the site next to us. WE had 2 tents on our site and they had 5 tents on there site. Each one of their children had their own tent. We even got away with 2 cars for one night on our site. But I wouldn't take that chance again! We were up all night worried we would be caught :rolleyes1 !!
