Epcot Park Swap - **Closed but Active**

This is an Epcot Park Swap that includes all pavilions in the World Showcase and Future World as well as any extras such as Illuminations.

We will have a maximum number of 12 participants in each group. After Team Vision fills, I will open sign-ups in Team Innovation. In addition, Team Creativity has been added to accommodate those wishing to swap more items.

How to Sign Up:

Select 1 element from Group A and a different element from Group B and then choose a topic. Not all elements will be chosen but only 1 person can sign up for any given element in each group. So as to insure that everyone has a chance to play, I will reserve spaces in Team Innovation for those that are not already in Team Vision. Any swappers already signed up in Vision or Innovation who wish to swap additional items will be placed in Team Creativity.

After Vision and Innovation fill up, I will create a separate, new thread with final details for each group. Team Creativity will also have it’s own thread as well.

Swap Due Date is November 1! I will wait one week for mail delays and then will send what I have.

If you have any questions about this swap, please feel free to PM me or post here but please note that I can't sign you up until you post your element and theme choices on this thread. This policy is to prevent duplication of requests and problems with selecting elements and topics.

You're good to go! This isn't that bad to organize. In my job as Volunteer Coordinator for Make-A-Wish Foundation in Sacramento, CA, I coordinate over 800 volunteers for more than 200 events and 200 wishes each year. You ladies are a joy to work with!

I have a question. If we move everyone in Team Innovation into Team Creativity, we will be at 12 and the swap will be closed. The only issue is that some of the items that were selected by those currently listed in Team Innovation have already been selected in Team Creativity.

Maybe you could wait a while longer to see if anyone else wants to participate? I know both of these ladies have participated in the past. There may be others who have been affected who would like to participate.

My goodness, you are so right. I didn't even think about that. I've been so wrapped up in what is happening with my family in NO and Biloxi that I forgot about everyone else who is affected with the ripples. Thank you for pointing this out to me.

I'm going to do some reshuffling and go back to filling Team Innovation and leaving Team Creativity for duplicate players. This means that everyone who got moved to Team Creativity will go back to Innovation with their original choices. I'm sorry about the confusion but I want to make sure that everyone who wants to play gets a chance to.

She had used my log-in one day, which caused the confusion. So if you could change it to show VanillaAngel is doing China for borders in group A & journal boxes in group B it won't sound as confusing.

Of course we accept newcomers. After all, I am still new and half of the swaps wouldn't get filled if we didn't have fresh blood, um, I mean newbies, who want to play. :teeth:

You are confirmed for your theme of China but I had to swap your group choices. You are now Group A: matted poem or song lyric and Group B: 1 box n' tag.

The guidelines are pretty straightforward and are laid out in the first post. For Group A, your matted poem/song should be double matted and embellished and at least 4" x 4" with no handwriting. For Group B, you will follow the individual instructions for journaling boxes and tags. Your journaling box must be double matted and embellished with at least a 2" x 2" writing area and your tag must be double matted and must include either fibers or eyelets in the holes.

Packaging and mailing instructions will be posted on the first post of the Team Innovation thread. Let me know if you have any other questions.

The first time I had poem/song lyric I had the same question & was told quotes were fine. I had Mickey Mouse & ended up using the test from the Wake Up Call you can receive while staying at the resorts.

How about something from the attraction script? I find these script pages really helpful!

Hi all!

I just wanted to update everyone on why the individual team threads haven't been posted yet.

To make an awful couple of weeks even worse, our car was stolen out of the parking lot at my office yesterday. It is our only vehicle so needless to say, we've been thrown into a tailspin.

This on top of losing my grandmother to the hurricane, having my relatives all displaced and now with my grandfather ailing rapidly has just thrown us for a loop. I am working on getting the groups done. I'm sorry for the delay. Let me know if you have any questions.
