Are there any rides I should avoid at Disneyland? I really want to ride the Indiana Jones ride but I guess I can't handle the real bumpy rides anymore. Thanks.

I would definitely avoid Indiana Jones and The Matterhorn.

Indiana Jones is EXTREMELY bumpy.
Big Thunder is bumpy as well, but not so bad in the front
Space Mountain should be OK, with the brand new track, its really a smooth ride!
Star Tours depends, there are parts that are extremely jumpy, but sit in the front, its alot smoother ride.

I second the vote on avoiding the Matterhorn. It is unbelievably jerky! So much so that I really didn't even enjoy it... and I usually love Disney rides and coasters!.....P

They are not so much bumpy as jerky - but both Toad and Roger Rabbit are might hurt your back depending on how much you can tolerate. They seem to have a more side to side jerking movement rather then bumpy.

Also, for Star Tours, the very back row seems to have more support if you have an upper back or neck injury.

I had back surgery myself 2 years ago and we go to DL three times a year! I now avoid Indiana Jones and Matterhorn. I still do Thunder..no problem. That is pretty much it since those rides are VERY jerky from side to side motion and will cause your back to tighten quickly and with prior injury may cause spasms! Yikes! Good luck. Also know that at WDW you should avoid the Dinosaur ride for the same reason. Marilyn :sunny:
