My DH didn't think they were that much cheaper than over here, compared to internet golf sites.

There are plenty of golf shops as you drive around.

I seem to remember one on the southern end of I-Drive close to the Castle Hotel. I think it was next to a Reebok outlet :)

There are about 5 branches of Edwin Watts around the area, including one on I-Drive. The best one is on Turkey Lake Road - it's huge. The prices are certainly cheaper than here, although possibly not cheaper than the internet. The benefit is that it's all in one place and you get to see the stuff itself.

Find addresses, maps and directions at www.edwinwatts.com.

Head north on I-Drive towards the Premium Outlet (Belz). Once you start to leave the Hotels behind, there is a superb Golf Discount Outlet store on the right hand side. It is pretty hard to miss and is located next to a Discount Shoe Oultet.

I found the staff in there have all the time in the world for the customer. One guy in particular was an ex-pat from Kent, so chatted for ages. He did a really good deal for me on a driver and a couple of wedges. Also waited until the boss had left and gave us 2 dozen balls for free.

Always ask if they can throw in any extras, they invariably will.

I think that's SpecialTee Golf, there's also one south of Sand Lake Road on I-Drive, just opposite an Edwin Watts store ;)

UKDEB is right though, Edwin Watts on Turkey Lake Road has the biggest selection :)
