First Week of December

What is it like the last few days prior to Grinchmas? Are there still decorations, or is it not done up yet? We will be there three days before it starts. :sad2:

It really depends. Last year the decorations started going up right after Thangsving weekend.

Grinchmas?! :banana: My fiance will flip out! We are including UO and IOA in our next trip and he's never been to either one. He will absolutely go nuts over this one!! Where can I find out more info. on Grinchmas and maybe get a few pics? Thanks! :cool1:

Last year we were there for the first 4 days of Dec and all of the resort (RPR) and park decorations were up. Both parks were as quiet as I've ever seen them - In the early morning we walked back to the Pteradon Flyers and I have pics of the park with absolutely no one in the background. Unfortunately PF wasn't running - I remember seeing Popeye and Olive wandering around 'looking' for people to say hello to one day - they even played basketball for a while with a few. I had thought that Grinchmas and Macy's Parade started at the beginning of the month like MVMCP does, so we were disappointed to miss the festivities - but the atmosphere in the parks was GREAT ! - Enjoy !

I remember there being decorations up last year around that time in Seuss Landing.

Will there be a Macy's parade? Do they have it every year?

oops, Never mind, I found it on Universals web site, they will be having the parade this year, looks fun!
