HI! I'm a long time lurker, first time poster (God, I hope I'm doing this right! :rotfl: ) Anyway, we will be in WDW 11/29-12/6. We will be going to the MVCMP for the 1st time. Does anyone dress their kids up in Christmas outfits for this, or should we just dress them up like we would to go to the parks? Thanks for any info.

Yes, many people dress festive! Many wear Mickey Santa Hats and MVMCP sweatshirts. Or matching shirts they got from home.

This year I lucked out and got Holiday Mickey T-shirts at the Disney Store that were on clearance and I got each of my girls one. They can wear them to the party!!

I usually wear my MVMCP sweatshirt unless it's way too hot out.

yes - we dressed DD up in xmas attire and I (pregnant at the time) had on an xmas shirt that read "Jingle belly, jingle belly baby on the way" and I had on the Jessica Rabbit hat. DH was not too festive though.

This year my girls are going to wear custom xmas overalls to the party.

Well, we've tried . . .

The first year, I had adorable Christmas t-shirts for us all to wear - but it was 40 degrees, so we had to wear regular sweatshirts and jackets over them.

The second year, I decided to go with Christmas sweatshirts for everyone - and it was 80 degrees the night of the party.

The third year, I packed Christmas t-shirts AND sweatshirts, thinking I had all our bases covered - and it poured all night, so we had to wear ponchos.

:rotfl2:

We're going again this year, so I may give it one more shot.

It's fun to dress festive so that your picture is very holiday oriented. You'll find lots of Christmas hats, including Mouse ear headbands that have reindeer antlers and jingle bells. Lots of red and white striped scarves too on the cast members - who are also very holiday-themed up. Even the characters are dressed up!

We bought Christmas sweat shirts there the day before after we saw that is was suppose to be cool that night. Many but not all people were in Christmas clothes. Just keep it comfortable!

I've seen both. I didn't dress my kids up, but others did. It's a nice touch since Santa will be there and the kids can get their pictures taken with him. It's totally up to you. :D

Thanks to everyone for the info. We are really looking forward to the Party :cool1: .

By the way, a special note to akamom - I can't believe your daughters' names! My 4 year old daughters are Ashlyn and Kaylee!! How cool! :goodvibes

We dressed DS (18 mos.) in his Santa suit last year - very cute! DH & I wore our Santa hats too. Our picture that night was our Christmas card.

Have fun!
