<font color=blueviolet size=4>SCHOOL... :rolleyes: I've only gone to one class (English) & right now I have a spare until I get a placement for peer tutoring. So far, my homework is to write a mini-essay on something that is on my mind right now... ahhh... and it's due tomorrow or thursday... Maybe I should start working on it now so I won't have to do it tonite...

So how did everyone else's first day go (if you started today)? A lot of homework? Are your classes a lot harder?

i started today. i just got home. i got my schedule, locker and an agenda book thing. I have the new spanish teacher htat replaced my old one who i hated:D

I'm excited because tomorrow is the offical start for me, when i go to my classes. theres a ton of new teachers and i have a lot of them. I have a lot of friends in my classes too!:D

I STILL haven't started yet... I start tomorrow! I've already gotten my schedule and I like all my teachers except my English teacher doesn't like me too much... :eek: l she like HATES me! lol! well anyways, i have a lot of friends in all my classes so it's gonna be a good year, i hope!

I start tomorrow too. I HOPE it will be a good day! I don't even feel like school is starting tomorrow - it is weird. I just went and did back to school shopping today (I procrastinate! lol) Now I need to go and study because I have a test tomorrow on my summer homework for AP Biology! A test the first day! My science teacher is crazy! lol. :)

I started college two days ago and it's sooooooooo scary!!:( I can never find any of my friends when I have time off and I keep getting lost!:rolleyes: I'm never going to get used to this!

My welsh classes are much more difficult than I had expected-lots of students speak some welsh at home or come from very welsh backgrounds and get welsh magazines and stuff. I'm really the only one in my family who speaks ANY welsh!! Today we watched a welsh tv show and I could not understand what on earth was going on!!!! Oh, well. I'll stick with it and just do my best.:)
I've also had Geography, Media Studies and Fine Art which were ok.


At the moment I'm wishing I was back at school............................................ ......:confused:

Well, heres how my first day of HS went

first period- bio. teacher's young, and she seems nice. I'm surrounded by friends.
second period- gym. teacher seems ok, kinda scary mean kids in my class, but I have friends
third period- world history- i dont remember :o whooops!
fourth- band- it was boring today, all the teacher did was talk
fifth- spanish 1- lets see, i can't under stand the teacher (She's german, married a japanese guy, and teaches spanish!), there are three juniors in my class, about five freshman, and the rest are spophs. I sit in front of the only 2 friends i have in there, and the last thing is she was talking in spanish (some parts) and the last time i took spanish was 6th grade, and all I learned was like colors and stuff.
sixth- lunch- we had to eat standing up b/c there were no chairs
7th- english- first year teacher, lots of friends
8th geomety- nice teacher, only freshman in the class!! I was like OMG!!!!! I think it'll be okay though.

I walked home with my sister though :)

Ya know, the day seems to be going faster b/c its only 8 periods, but today was the first day, and we didnt do anything

Only 8 periods?! OMG I couldnt sit through eight classes ever day! I have 7 classes but the schedule is divided so that we have 4 classes everday. Sure the classes are longer but I only see certain teachers every other day!

I have to sit through 4 classes a day that are like 80 mins each. The SAME 4 classes EVERY day for the next 4 1/2 months... ahhh.... I think i like this better than having 8 classes a day though.

I have 7 classes also but I'm a sophomore. The schedule is better then last year. Sometimes a study hall is extremly boring when you have nothing to do and you have to be silent.

You only have four classes? I've never heard of anyones schedule like that! That must be really different then my school day! :)

They must be really long. We have double classes which are 90 mins and they seem to take forever! I cant imagine having that all day!!:eek:
