I realize that there is a 1 night non-refundable deposit required when you book using the Best Rate program, but what if you shorten your trip by a day or two once you check-in? Is there any penalty for that?
Also, when I try to book the Wilderness Lodge for January, the Woods View is not an option. Can you not book a Woods View using the Best Rate program?
TIA~

With Best Rate, they did have a $50 "change fee" if your stay was shortened or moved to a less expensive resort or view. However, I believe that is no longer being done, but check just to be sure.
Woods view rooms are probably all booked with Best Rate, that's why you are not seeing them.

I have a BR for December and needed to make some changes. I called and moved us from CBR to Pop and added a few nights with no problems and no fees. I did get a refund today for the extra of the one night's deposit, so they aren't allowing you to apply any extra.
I sure have been keeping my fingers crossed for them to lower the rate more, but I don't think it's going to happen. :confused3

It is available to Annual Passholders on the Disney website for Passholders. You can also do it with a voucher.

BoPeep,
Check periodically, as availability fluctuates.
