booking flight/hotel with Travelocity/Expedia

I was looking up flights on Travelocity/Orbitz/Expedia and found that the cost to stay at POR is a little cheaper there, but I wanted to check with you all and see if this is a good way to go. I do have requests, which I think will make it difficult. Such as, I would like to be in the mansions, with a water view and a king size bed. As I was reading the fine print on some of those sites, I don't think I can get my specific requests met.
How did it work out for some of you?
