Have any of you ever stayed at the Grand Floridian? I heard it was very very very beautiful inside. How were the rooms? I also heard it is Disneys top hotel. Me and my grandma are planning for a trip in 2008 for my graduation( i know its a long time from now) and i get to pick the hotel. This is a good choice right?

I did a few years ago, and yes, it is beautiful. It certainly lives up to it's reputation as a top hotel. I thought it was a little formal for my tastes (I'm a Poly/WL girl) but it's still very nice. :)

I've only been in the lobby. But just from that I would stay there. The theming and everything was great.

I've stayed there and loved it! We weren;t in the main building... that's only conceriege. We had a room in one of the other buildings, first floor, right by the pool. It was a bit noisy sometimes (cuz the pool was literally right there) but otherwise absolutely gorgeous!

I stayed there about 4 years ago for one night (that's all we could afford, lol) just to see what it was like. It was the most gorgeous hotel I've ever been in, but it's a little too formal for my taste. Also, the "food court" (if you would even call it that) was extremely tiny...smaller than any of the other resorts I've stayed at. I like the Disney hotels with the big food courts because of the convenience. I would definately recommend everyone to try and stay there one night, atleast to experience it.

I stayed there when I was about 4, so I don't remember much. It's beautiful though, very nice lobby.

Yeah, I stayed in Concierge for my birthday. The concierge wasn't that great, although I loved the bread sticks, but I liked the hotel. It had REALLY nice rooms though. I would stay there again, but not in Concierge.

I stayed there. I don't like it. Personally it is to fancy and when I stayed there you couldn't even splash water in the pool. I stay concierge every year at Polynesian and it is by far the BEST! The people I have talked to have decided that Polynesian concierge is better than the GF concierge. I would recommend the Polynesian though. I am also graduating in 08 I'm WAY excited! :D
