I was gonna post a pic of me from Halloween this year....but oh it's my avatar nvm. This pic does not include me but it's great. So I thought I would share. This is my sister's boyfriend. He has worn this same costume (different pumpkin!) 3 years in a row. See the "mohawk, lip rings, and eye brow ring"? He's a PUNK-kin. Get it? I never have a chance at best costume when he wears that! GRRRRR! Although, he can never see where he's going and my sis has to lead him around with a chain. He always wears the head into the party and takes it off once everyone sees it.

Redbaybound, my sister wore a costume very similiar to your daughter's (Athena, Greek Goddess) with a different "crown".

Surferrat, I ALMOST went as Hermione but the Hogwarts capes I found were too expensive (plus I feel silly....27 y/o dressed as Hermione...I'll save that for the next book release party at Borders!)

The "D" means whatever you want it too, but usually means "Dear".

This handsome gray horse is the real Cazalet. I bred him and was there when he was foaled. He is now 3 years old and just started under saddle. He was born very dark brown and will be completely gray (white) when he gets older.

When you go to imageshak, copy the text that says "hotlink for forums 1" instead of "thumbnail for forums". I think that's when you get the numbers, and the picture is smaller then too.

slightly off topic about the picture thing but think of it this way. First today you are younger than you will be tomorrow and you probably look better than you will later for that reason :goodvibes . I try not to ever be really critical of myself in pictures even though I am not at all photogenic and there is always something I wished was not there but....

think about your family. When you look at pictures of a loved on that is not with you any more do you look at the bad hair or how fat they look or any of that other meaningless stuff? No, you look at their loving smile or their eyes or them. Try to remember that you are the most critical judge of all. No one looks at a picture of Grandma and thinks, "if only she lost 10 pounds and was wearing makeup that picture would have been better" We are glad to have the picture!

I say this because I am living proof I look back at myself 20 years ago in high school and I was a Goddess! Only I didn't know it. So I try to remeber now that when I am 80 I am going to look back at my 40 year self and think the very same thing!

Yes, really. I was looking at a recent pic of myself my sis gave me and thinking "omg I am so fat". Then I look back at old pics and think "I was so skinny then..." blah blah blah. Of course, at the time, I thought I was fat. I guess I will always do that, but probably no one else thinks that! (I hope :rolleyes: )

Thank you LisaInNc for posting that. My own mom almost never allowed people to take pictures of her. She was always the one with a camera. We have so few pics of her now. And I really wish that we had more now that she is no longer with us.

And what's even worse is that her grandchildren have no pictures of her at all. There aren't really any to give them. :( Especially from the time that they were really little and would want to remember her as she was at that time. And pictures are really doorways to memories.

Yes they are all my characters, but it is actually two pictures merged. The food clones (on the left) are one picture and the Mind Clan (on the right) are another picture.

So far I have found a limit of 8 characters showing at a time. I don't know if this is a limit of my computer's memory (448MB), the Shockwave program, or the VMK game.

One thing that people do not realize is that a character does not disappear from the screen until all the game browser windows are closed. I call a visible character that has been logged off a "zombie". What I do is open a window with an "anchor" character that has all the other characters as friends. Then I open another window, log in a character, place him where I want him in the picture, log him off, log in the next character, and so on.

Another thing I have discovered recently is that if you ask a "zombie" to be a friend, next time that character is logged on he will get the request. This will make my food clone meet and greet much easier. I will just bring all my food clones in and leave them there as "zombies". That way guests who want a food clone friend can choose which ones they want and make a friend request. After everybody has made their requests I can log on the food clones one at a time and OK the friend requests.

OK, I have to tell my funny story from spring 2004 when the Flames went all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. My friend, who is not into sports, happens to work for one of the owners of the team, so had to start taking an interest (meant free tickets to some games - one of which she brought me to). She was having a little problem picking up "the lingo". She consistently referred to the "5-hole" as the "5-spot". We had many a laugh, as she told us how the puck went right into the 5-spot!

A "hole", when used in hockey context, means a 'void' or 'hole', that when you are looking at the goalie head on you can score on him. I know that might sound confusing, so below is a picture to give an example.

OK I decided to change the post I had here of a bunch of stupid pics of me and move a thread from the random rambling thread. Since no one answered my question, maybe they will here.

OK make sure you check out my previous post, it's cool.

I have a "poll" of sorts. My hair is long and red now, like in my sig picture. I'm thinking about going short and blonde again (my natural color), tomorrow or maybe next week sometime. I would like some opinions on whether or not I should do this! I like it short, but it has been growing for so long I'm kinda scared to cut it again.
Check out this old picture, its about what my hair would look like if I change it (except for the bangs, I would have short pieces in front but no bangs...I know they look bad). But the length and general style is what I would be going for. Sorry it's such a goofy pic but it's the only one I could find with the hairstyle I'm thinking about going for.
Your opinions are greatly appreciated! you can PM me if you want so this thread won't be taken over with junk about my hair.

This is a picture of me and Mike Reno the lead singer of Loverboy! This was taken on 11/9/05 at Epcot.
Now I look real funny because I have very long hair and it is in a ponytail and you can not see it!

I love the shirt I am wearing though don't you?

The girls sitting behind me were there with the band and they were nice enough to call Mike over to us for this picture. Then they e-mailed it to me cause I was out of film. That was very nice of them!

Cross my heart girl, I do not know how to even put pics on the computer! Everybody else has had to help me do everything from putting an avatar on, to putting in a siggie some sweet person made me. I do know what a keyboard and mouse are, and a monitor.. but that is it! (sadly)

Ok, I finally got around to getting my pictures developed! Here is a picture of me (left front), FlyingPegasus (right front), and Flying's friend Indian (back) at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, the day we met last month! Not the best pic of me (glad no flies decided to go in my mouth, hanging open like a fish!) :rolleyes: I hope the pic Flying got was better! If you look carefully on the far left of the picture next to my thigh, you can see part of the hot dog on the table that I blame for my sickness at the park later that day! :rotfl2:

I love this pic. I have pics of my fiance and me in similar hats from last month that I just got developed. You can see my lovely green VMK bracelet! (Who buys these hats? I'm sure they get tried on and their pics taken by EVERYONE...but I want to know who actually buys them and how many people have worn them previously....anyway, I digress) You can tell CoughCoolGhoul did NOT want me to put the hat on him, much less take a pic...but he had no choice :) Really, this is not what his face usually looks like (thank goodness! :rotfl: )And he wants me to add that he did not want me to post the picture here! Hey, Bob/Out...I'm with you. I went crazy and cut the hair I was trying to grow out forever yesterday! (I asked a while back for advice on whether or not I should...here is before and after shots. Before is very recent (and probably already on thread somewhere, but so you can compare). I am still deciding whether or not I like it...I was upset at first because it looked terrible (but it was the way she styled it...my own style was much better and I re-dyed today to cover my roots too! :earsgirl: <---roots)

slightly off topic about the picture thing but think of it this way. First today you are younger than you will be tomorrow and you probably look better than you will later for that reason :goodvibes . I try not to ever be really critical of myself in pictures even though I am not at all photogenic and there is always something I wished was not there but....

think about your family. When you look at pictures of a loved on that is not with you any more do you look at the bad hair or how fat they look or any of that other meaningless stuff? No, you look at their loving smile or their eyes or them. Try to remember that you are the most critical judge of all. No one looks at a picture of Grandma and thinks, "if only she lost 10 pounds and was wearing makeup that picture would have been better" We are glad to have the picture!

I say this because I am living proof I look back at myself 20 years ago in high school and I was a Goddess! Only I didn't know it. So I try to remeber now that when I am 80 I am going to look back at my 40 year self and think the very same thing!

I hope that one day I can look back and actually like my pitures (doubt it will happen, but...lol) LOL I was looking back at some of our old Disney pictures and I mean old lol. I was about 8 years and my picture was everywhere! I couldn't believe how many pictures my parents took of me! My, how times change (whenever I see them pull out the camera and aim at me, away I look! LOL) Then, I was actually looking at the camera lol. I had so much fun looking back at them and I suppose I would have fun looking back on pictures of today in the future. Oh why do you have to be so right!? LOL I would rather be the one taking pictures (LOVE taking and editing pictures) and now I guess I should hand the camera over for a mere minute or two so that I may "strike a pose"! LOL!!! LOL. I will go look for a picture and see if should use it. See you all again in about 100 years or so when I do find it lol!

Thanks :) I got it from the same place, from the same guy, that we went to in Ybor that day (who would not let you try any wigs on :rotfl2: ). It's REALLY long (you can't see all of it in the picture). I went with Nicki and told him I was going to buy one, so we spent about an hour trying to find one that looked good on me. We were there to go to that store "La France" so Nicki could look at wedding dresses.

Oh yeah, she is supposed to call and tell you the big news! You did not hear it from me....
P.S....you are going to be a bridesmaid :) (of course!)

Raineforst, that wig looks great! I used to have a blue one but it was not as cool as that. I don't look right in odd-colored wigs (except pink, and my real hair looks good pink too :))

Are you talking about Bike Week at Myrtle Beach SC by any chance? Maybe they have them other places but my parents own a condo in MB and we used to go there for a week every summer with our extended family on my Mom's side, and I have witnessed Bike Week there....

Sorry... haven't gone to Myrtle Beach yet. There are so many smaller Bikefests and rallies in the Southeast that I have to pick and choose and usually I pick Daytona because I know somebody down there.

But Daytona may lose out this year... they have become less and less biker friendly (even though we pump millions and millions into their economy) every year. That's fine - we don't go where we're not wanted. ;)

I'm thinking a short little (1500 mile) ride to Sturgis, SD may be in order this year...

Ok, I thought since he's been talked about here, and a there has been a few sitings of the elusive "Propman" you really should see his photo too. Here's one of our photopass photos after we finally figured out what that was all about (3 days into the vacation! :rotfl2: ) Don't mind the hair on us, it was a typical Florida summer day, hot and humid! :sunny:
I figured it was also only fair to post updated photos of the kids too. My DD kittendance, who is now going around vmk as horseriderann (thank you sea star Roxanne!) even though she doesn't ride horses and isn't named ann! :confused3 She is wearing part of her christmas presents which were 4 princess dresses made specially for her by a wonderful relative, who also made matching dresses for the doll. Then DD with my sweet DS zsert at our traditional New Years Day picnic! (notice zsert got rid of the mullet!) :woohoo:

Its not exactly an american girl doll no, but it is exactly the same size and very similar to it. Its made by Goetz and they sold them at Kohls for a while, its called my little sister. A very nice doll and American girl clothes fit her. She has loads of fun trying all the clothes on herself and the doll. Wish you were closer I know my princess would love another girl to play princess dress up with! We need to arrange a time for them to meet up on vmk!

Hey Duck...so why don't you post a picture? Is it because you WONT or because you CANT? If it's CANT, then pm me if you want to learn, i have the instructions saved in a text file to copy to others who want to know. It is very easy if you have them on your computer. If not, then you just have to figure out a way to get them there! I can help with that too (I am a digital photo lab specialist now! Well I have been before years ago but I'm back now in my favorite type of job!!!!)

And kitashus and Tiger....what is the "Series of Unfortunate Events Dinner"? I LOVE THOSE BOOKS! CoughCool and I are both hooked on them. I am finished with #12 and he is up to #9. I can't wait until the last one comes out, I'm in so much suspense! Honestly, I read A LOT, always have, and read all sorts of books: but these are about the most clever books I have ever read!

I know Dave Attell and he is a strange little man...most comics are! My favorite intorduction was to Bob Saget...he is hilarious and very nice in person!

Yeah, he seems pretty funny. I remember seeing him in stuff like "Half Baked" after I had only seen him on Full House, I could not believe he had dirty jokes and stuff. He was just so clean cut on that show...he seems like he would be nice. Dave Chappelle is strangely very shy in person. Very quiet and reserved. You would never know that from The Chappelle Show! He always talks about doing marijuana and stuff (kids, drugs are bad) but in real life he says he does not do that, it's all an act. His wife is so cute, she's this tiny Asian woman. My friend up in NC knew her, that's how I met him. I tried to talk to him in the car but he was just very quiet and seemed nervous (maybe he thought we were abducting him LOL). What happened is that we were at his comedy show, and this drunk girl kept heckling him so bad he just made fun of her the whole time and gave up on his comedy routine, and said "let's all walk to the Capitol building" (this was in downtown Raleigh, NC) "and protest something...let's protest...slavery! come on everyone, lets go!" The audience was all like "is he serious?" and we went outside. He was serious, and led the entire audience down the street at 3 a.m. to the Capitol building, and we were saying "down with Slavery! Free the slaves!" Everyone was trying to get his autograph, I didn't have anything so I got him to sign my cell phone with a sharpie :) I lost that cell phone...anyway, my friends who knew his wife showed up, and the police came and made us leave. Everyone was like, "do you know who he is? This is Dave Chappelle!" The police said "I know but you all can't be here doing this." So my friends and I gave him and his wife a ride back to the comedy club, and he let us come to the VIP room to hang out, and have champagne and stuff. I have some pictures of my friends and me with him, but I can't find them. I will look for them and post the one of me and him (I have my arm around him but my hand is not touching his shoulder...like I was scared to touch him or something...but it's just that my friend took the pic too fast). He was really nice.
