I saw that article as well. Our daughter has a guide dog. Her training was a month long residential program. There is a very long wait list for these dogs when they retire.

Another service dog was on the May Panama Canal cruise. He handled the entire voyage with no problems.

I am hoping that your wait for your special helper is a short one! Your excitement is quite evident in your posts about the program.
