3 years ago we paid $98 rt all taxes. This year we are up to $120 (fees included) from Philly so sounds like you got a good fare. We're using USA3000 so I am just a bit nervous. I'd love to hear from anyone who got those $16 fares a few weeks ago!

Lowest I ever got was $110/rt PVD to MCO on SWA using a companion flies free promotion. 4 of us paid $440. That was about 3 yrs ago. I leave on Monday 8/22 and we're paying $134/rt PVD to MCO on SWA.

I got that fare using DING!

I just got $158 pp RT from Cleveland (direct flight) on USA 3000 (never flown them before, also a bit nervous!). The best I've ever gotten from here was $118 RT on SWA, but it had a stop, so I didn't mind springing a bit more for a direnct flight.

My sister is a flight attendant for them out of Cleveland. My parents fly them once a month down to FL. And love it! They really are a good airline, nothing to be nervous about. They have on flight movies and serve meals on their flights. Have a great flight! My DH does not want to have DS on a plane yet (very hyper boy) so we are driving. Also try promo code SAVE for some extra money off.

Thanks to DING we recently got HOU to MCO for $65 each way. That is an awesome rate from Houston. Prior to that the best rate we ever got was $79 each way but the normal was $99 each way.

We are going the last week of Septmeber and we just purchasd tickets on Southwest (gotta love those Dings) for $30 each way. We are flying from Birmingham to MCO. Our tickets for a family of 5 cost $377. With gas going up in price, I feel very lucky!!!

Good, we can worry together. I've heard mostly good things so far so we should be fine! Looking forward to trying them out. Their fares (even to Bermuda and Mexico) are terrific!

This is just incredibly sad!! Last year we flew for 225 per person. So far I can't find under 300 dollars for this year. There are no cheap flights where we live :(

The last time we flew to Orlando in December we paid $199 per person RT from LAX. That rate was what caused me to book that trip in the first place. The lowest we could get for this December was $339 per person on United. There was only a few dollars difference between non-stop and connecting flights and I really do not like to deal with connecting flights during the winter due to weather issues causing delays and cancellations.

Got $81.00 round trip flights on Southwest in September 2001 and $82.00 round trips for our September 2005 trip (gotta love Ding fares and these prices includes all taxes and fees). :cool1:

We also got $49 each way from BWI. That was part of our reason for bumping up our trip, sure beats driving despite having to shorten it by a day.

We got the $16 fares out of Syracuse this September, but they are not to MCO, they are to SFB, (Sanford) wich I guess is a little farther away. Still, for $280 for a family of 5 + baby, I don't mind a little more driving! :goodvibes

I just happened to be on the computer at the right time, and saw the deal on www.slickdeals.net. Still took several hours because the servers were so overloaded, and we had to shave one day off or our trip to get the fare, but still worth it I think.

I have to admit, I'm still a little nervous about it, seems to good to be true, and I had never heard of the airline before, but we're hoping for the best.

Now, if we could just find a really good deal on a 6 passenger car...

last year we had $67 for 2 RT on Midwest from Milwaukee to WDW.

I still dont know how it happened but my mom had a ticket that my sisters niece couldnt use so my mom said if we wanted to pay the name change fee which was $100 we cold have the ticket!! (the ticket had a value of $210)

So when I called the airline to see what I needed I was told all that they needed was a note from my mom saying it was ok for me to use the ticket.

and they take the fee off the value of the ticket (I thought that was a great deal in itself) so now the ticket was worth $110 so I thought ok one ticket at $110 the other was $177 which I thought was a great rate.

but then she told me they take the $110 value and put it towards my other ticket!!!!! thats the part that doenst make any sense. so basically it was like getting one ticket free and 1/2 off the other!!!

so we flew RT non stop for 2 people for $67 total!!!

Im sure I'll never see air fare like that again

Flying Boston to MCO is ridiculous, price-wise. I went to expedia, and the cheapest nonstops are $370!! You can get cheaper if you connect, but still nothing less than $200.

I am flying JetBlue for $295 Dec 21-26. Cheapest nonstop I could find :guilty:

Best of luck with the car rental - I did see some deals with Thrifty a few weeks ago, but they seem to have gone up again.

I was wondering if any Disers got that $16 fare. Here's a look at your great deal. You paid $280 for 5 and I thought that my $780 for 5 was super!! I hope your trip is only that much better!!

You will never believe this, but several years ago (1997 I think it was) we got $48 ROUND TRIP airfare per person from Richmond to Orlando (this was on Airtran if I remember correctly, before they left Richmond and came back.) My DH & I flew down for under $100 TOTAL roundtrip. I have never had a rate that low again.

This year I just got $66 roundtrip base fare p/p on Southwest for this October.

Very nice! We live equidistant between MHT and BOS so we check both. Ended up getting BOS to MCO for $140 on Jet Blue. Who are you flying out of MHT for that price?

Congrats!

In sept 2001, I got airfare from Delta airlines for $89/RT, from Phoenix, AZ. Yes, thats $89!!

Have never ever seen it that price again. It was on thier site for about 6 hours, then gone. I checked everyday, all day, it popped up and i grabbed it.

Right now the price on delta for either sept 05 or may 06 is $293/RT!!

I want to go in 3 weeks but im not paying that much!!

Ok.. I live only 9 hours away from MCO... I have been all over the net looking around and so far I have found the price to fall between 180-200 roundtrip from New Orleans to Orlando... how come you guys live so far and can get it so cheap? My trip is not until the last week of Jan...

I am planning on using the Disney Website vacationing packages for my trip in Jan, I find it to much easier. They don't show the pricing on the plane tickets but if I'm using my head correctly I think i'm getting around the same deal as if I were to do my own package.

We flew into Orlando Sanford over Spring Break and loved it! We used Orlando Sanford Transportation to get to and from WDW. I think it was $150 total + tip which seemed like a fair price. It wasn't that bad of a ride either, maybe a bit shorter than an hour. Hope you have a blast and congrats on the great tix price!

Just got $98 RTper person from Baltimore. Southwest just started a Florida Frenzy sale (you gotta love that company) Airtran has a similiar sale in trying to compete. - SW was still a tiny bit cheaper.

Hey I just noticed I can use that 39 dollar deal too from MSY... but I do have a question and I hope someone out there knows... I plan on booking my vacation through WDW site, but I dont mine getting my plane tickets through someone else, especially if it's cheaper, but can I still use the "magicial express" using southwest or any other airline?? If so how would I book it? I haven't even tried booking my vacation package without tickets yet so maybe there is an option..

Thanks for listening

I booked my airfare separately online while booking my room ressies with WDW travel. I am flying Spirit airlines and the CM just took my flight info while I was on the phone with them. I checked WDW ressie online in a couple of days and my outbound flight info was incorrect so I called them and they fixed it. A week later I got my yellow tags for ME with all the correct info. As it turns out, I'm only bringing carry ons but we'll use the transpo. Hope that helps.

Well, I bought roundtrip on Southwest from Nashville to Orlando for $95 apiece last month, but we aren't using them. I bought Delta out of Huntsville, Alabama for $156.

I have gotten Huntsville, AL to MCO for $131, and Memphis to MCO for $136, I believe.

We've never paid a lot to go to Orlando..

Wow...and I thought I was getting a great deal at $194+tax RT from Seattle to MCO.... Last year we were looking and the BEST we could find was $450pp RT... :earseek: So when I saw the price under $200 I grabed it....plus our TA's (we're dealing with two diffrent agencys) both said we'd be lucky to get anything close to $250...but to expect something more along the lines of $300++. :guilty:

JLBlower79... We booked our WDW package through AAA and purchased our flights on our own...and are using the ME. :teeth: We just had to tell the TA at AAA our flight plans...then she called them into Disney for us.

You folks got some SMOKIN' deals. I am paying $122/person with taxes from Philly to MCO leaving 8/29. I planned this trip so far in advance that I was afraid to wait for the SWA deals to come out in July. Booked this flight in mid-April on hotwire through United on a shared flight with USAir. The only down side is the return flight home arrives late on Labor Day Monday and my kids start school the next day. I would have saved about $18 - 22 total for 4 people if I had waited for SWA deals. I am still happy with my deal since it definately beats driving!

The fact that so many people have gotten such good deals recently gives me hope that I will be able to find a good winter deal from PHL or BWI to Salt Lake or Dnver for my annual ski trip.

Bon Voyage!

I thought we were doing great with $207 pp non-stop from LAX on AA for our trip this Oct, then today the fare dropped to $117! We were able to get a voucher for the diffference minus a $25 change fee. I am so spoiled with this fare that I may never be able to book a trip to WDW again!
