Hi

We are off to Disney again in January and could anyone let me know if children are allowed in Pleasure Island and were are the best places to take them. I have two sons aged 12 & 7.

Thanks

As far as I can remember they'll be allowed in the "park" but will not be allowed in any of the clubs, they have a very strict over 21 policy

Not sure about the 12 year old but (and this is only my personal opinion) I would not take a 7 year old to PI at night anyway. DTD is great for kids during the day, with loads of shops and the lego store, as well as Disney Quest but PI, to me, is strictly for adults.

Pleasure Island is free to enter for any age. You only pay if you want to enter the nightclubs. You have to be 21 or over to enter the BET Soundstage and Mannequins. For most others, you need to be 18 or over.

PI is really intended to be an adult nighttime entertainment venue, although you will see some children there, particularly earlier in the evening. If you want to take them, your best best is probably the Adventurers Club.

If you do go, don't forget to take some ID if you want to drink. They will card anyone who looks under 30 (or even older in my experience) and you won't get one of the requisite 'bracelets', which tells the bar staff that they can serve you, without it.
