Just wondering....have you found a "secret" place to watch Illuminations? Away from the crowds but still a great view.

We always make reservations at the Rose & Crown and ask for either a window seat or an outside seat depending on weather - it's a great view!

Yes, we did. I'd tell you where it is but it's a secret. ;)

I watch Illuminations from either the bridge between UK and France (on the lowest deck), or in between the two Towers (the two shops at the enterance of WS). The UK/France bridge can get more crowded than between the two Towers, but neither location is so horribly crowded that it's not managable.

Enjoy!

but our least crowded place will be on 9/3 when we have a private dessert party at UK lower the night before our WDW wedding. :)

Ok I'll tell you. But you have to swear not to tell anyone. :ssst:

Ok. Beside Rose and Crown there is a terrace. Its wide open until someone makes a move, because most people assume its a part of Rose and Corwn. I'd try to get there by 7ish, hungry. Now when you approach R&C there is a podium next to an arbor. In front of the resturaunt and down there street there is a stone wall. Go through the arbor past the podium. The open tables are to the left. They are not set and not under the awning like the R&C terrace tables. But because they are behind the wall, most people, if they notice them at all, assume they are a part of the resturaunt. Grab a table and send someone for dinner at one of the table service resturaunts.

Not you have to promise not to tell a soul. :ssst:

Did you mean counter service? Not sure how someone could bring dinner back from a table service restaurant.
