View Full Version : I'm in a Trivia kind of mood!
There used to be some trivia games on the Teen Disney Boards, but I don't know where they went. This doesn't have to be a game, but since our Disney Trivia game was out, I want to see if you guys can answer some of them!
okay, here's a question:
What was the first feature film released by Walt Disney's Buena Vista Distrubution Company: The Living Desert, Treasure Island, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea?

*Did you know that most people think WDW is in Orlando, when it is really located in Lake Buena Vista. LBV is inbetween Orlando and Kissimee, although you can't find LBV on weather.com!*

Hi Kiki,
http://www.intercot.com/edc/images/mcubelogo.gif
"Take a rib-tickling ride through the evolution of transportation and see just why 'It's Fun to be Free!' Discover how mankind's progress has been directly related to worldwide innovations in mobility - and take a look at how tomorrow's transportation will change the face of our cities."
- Ride Description, EPCOT Center Guide Book
Epcot's World of Motion Pavilion stood for almost a decade and a half as one of Epcot's most popular and beloved attractions. This sleek, circular structure housed one of Disney's largest collections of Audio-Animatronic figures (188) set in 24 scenes. Each one depicted the progression of transportation and society through the ages.
Brought to you by General Motors, it was removed in late 1995 to make way for Test Track.
Ooooooooh! No wonder! It was removed in 1995. I can't even remember what I wore yesterday!:p My first time that I could really remember was in 94, so I might have gone on then.
Thanks, Daniel! :D

I don't think they closed World of Motions till 1996 because I have the World of Motion on my vacation 1995 tape which I took in December.
ok, next question!
When was Fantasia released?
I'll give you a few possible answers:
1. August 31, 1941 2. March 12, 1939 3. July 19, 1945 4. November 13, 1940 5. October 6, 1943
:bounce: Good Luck!! :bounce:
MickeyMoose15
09-05-2001, 07:00 PM
That is so easy. It was released the same year as Pinnochio.
The answer is November 13th, 1940.
It's only easy if you know the answer, mickeymoose
My Science teacher always said that, b/c it is true
Anyway, yea that's the right answer. I never knew that, I just have my Disney catalog next to me and theres a shirt w/ lots of dates, page 3
I gotta go now every body!!

WDWfanatic288
09-07-2001, 08:29 PM

The answer is Waldo C. Graphic
Here is the new one:
What is the tallest structure at WDW?
Oh, I was close! I am pretty sure it's the water tower in MGM and/or the TOT. I know both are 13 stories and are like 999 feet or something like that b/c if they were a foot higher, they would need a light on the top for planes.
Am I right?
MickeyMoose15
09-14-2001, 03:37 PM
You are so wrong!
Tower of Terror is 199 feet not 999 feet.
It is also not the answer to the question.
Try again!!
I don't know what the answer is to this question, but I think that your "you are so wrong" was a little on the inappropriate side...A nope, that's not right would've been fine.

Oh!! Oh Oh Oh Oh!!! I know this one, b/c it's part of one of my favorite movies!! It's from the Great Movie Ride in MGM in the last part when they show movie clips. You're quote was from the scene from Beverly Hills Cop and it's said by Eddie Murphy!!! I'm so happy that I got 'a hard one' hehe :D
ok, next question:
What animated character lives in Hangman's Tree?
Good Luck :)
That one was a little hard; it was Peter Pan, he lived there with the lost boys. I can't think of a new one right now, so I'll leave it to the next person.

animekatie
10-09-2001, 06:11 PM
I think MickeyMoose's is the old Journey Into Your Imagination ride.
The answer to my old one is: The shark's name is Glut. (more completely useless knowledge stuffed into my brain where Chemistry should be! ^_^)
And don't feel bad if you didn't get it- it was more of a question to see if I was the only one here who for some reason knows this weird kind of random stuff. *sigh* I am... Oh well... :bounce:
MickeyMoose15
10-09-2001, 06:16 PM
Journey into Imagination and Dreamflight are both wrong!
It was located inside Epcot though!
