Past Disney brides if the top part of your dress had beads/pearls or any kind of embellishments did you get rubbed raw on your skin? I've read Sam's report and have heard of others that this has happened to. Any sugguestions on how to prevent this?? Thank you in advance!

Monistat has a new product called "Soothing Care" Chafing Relief and Powder Gel. It's in a tube, goes on as a gel, and dries feeling like a powder. Totally clear and odorless, it's meant for chafing on any part of the body.
This may be TMI, but I use it under my bra, where the underwires tend to chafe, and it works great!

I had a heavily beaded bodice on my gown, but I didn’t have a problem with chafing. My beads laid pretty flat though, so that might’ve helped. That Monistat product sounds like it could be helpful though.

My dress was pretty heaving on the beading and I didn't have any problems. I found the sheer weight of my dress to be more of an annoyance than the beading.

That's strange I NEVER thought about the weight factor of the dress. GREAT! More to worry about! Thanks for the input about the "soothing care" I'll have to give it a try!

Hehe! I didn't mean to add to your bridal stress! It won't be too bad don't worry. And I think my dress was heavier than most. The one I wore was definetly the heaviest of the ones I tried on...not the brightest move I made considering I got married in June! ;)
