Day 8, Saturday, August 25, 2001 “I’m leaving on a jet plane…”

Up late. Nice breakfast. Hang at the pool. Checkout. Have lunch and off to the airport. Now we have had no rain for 3 days, what happens we’re on the plane, people would not sit so it’s starts to rain, thunder & lightening…we’re not going anywhere. We sit on the plane for an hour. Finally leave and into Chicago. Which has another delay. By the time we get home it is 2:30am and we are tired. The car meets us and we head home. We had a great time.

Thought, we used Priceline this time and I don’t know if I will again. The trip down was ok with a stop but to go to Providence, RI by way of Chicago is a bit different.

Thanks for the great reports. I'm sorry you had to spend so much time on the plane. I hear that its very hot and trying. Now its time to start planning the next trip.

Actually Hubby and I are going for our 10th anniv the end of Oct and then we head down with my in-laws in April! Happy planning...
