We are having a big family reunion (19 people) at WDW and I want to make, or have made, Disney-ish lanyards for everyone.

We are going to use crystal beads, but I wanted to get some ceramic Disney character beads to decorate the lanyards. I have searched the internet and cannot find anything.

I know Disney sells these types of beads in its on-site stores. Is there any way I can order these from Disney or get them elsewhere?

Our trip is in October, so I have a little time.

Thanks!

Not that this is any great help, but I found cute wooden and plastic "Mickey" shaped beads at the Premiere Outlet store in Lake Buena Vista in June. They were in a kit of child's art sets, and were marked down to $3.99 a set. It might be worth calling to see if they have any of these left. If I had enough here, I'd send mine to you, but I only have a few beads left. They might also have these art sets at the Belz Outlet store. I think these sets were called Castle Creations. They come in a green and orange plastic box.

Hope that helps a little!

I'm heading to Disney Sept 8-16th. I could pick some up for you. Would that help?

Wow! Thank you all for the quick and helpful replies! The people on these boards are the best!

Ohiominnie - Thanks very much for the offer, but I don't think I could finish 19 lanyards in time if I got the beads late in September. I should have saod that we are actually leaving for WDW on September 29, and checking in on October 2.

Courtney - That sounds like a great plan! I will e-mail you!

I know you already have somebody to get beads for you. I found a site that has some for sale, I know they will be cheaper from the person on this board but I thought you might like to see the pictures anyways. Go to Disney Beads (http://laughingplacestore.com/Category.asp?RC=922) so you can see some of the designs so you get an idea of what you might like. I know they have more beads than what is shown on this site.

Oh my! They're sooooo cute! But you're right, that site's prices are always high!

I don't need any beads. I don't need any beads. I don't need any beads. (Maybe if I keep telling myself that....) :rotfl:

Disney will ship to you, anything they sell in the park! (except for chocolate, I tried...)
