Unless we get some people who find time to post while at SHowcase, I think we'll just have to wait until Monday. My real unit does not go until Wave 2. Luckily, my adopted unit is Wave one and will have stuff at Monday meeting too! It's only a few more days. We can make it, right?

My CMC is going this weekend and doesn't return until Weds..... :guilty: I told her I was waiting to order my new albums in case a new color came out. She said she did not think there would be a new color but maybe a new Disney album......I hope she is right. :cool1: But then again that could be very costly for me. I have to switch over at least 2 of my CM albums to their Disney one if they come out. But then I will have 2 to fill with family stuff so its not to bad.
Let us know asap on pins and needles here in Ohio

A new portable storage system for ALL of our inventory!!
We were on cell phones and kept breking up but I think it's called a PODS system - portable xxx xxx system. She says it can be purchased in units anywhere from $8 and up. There is also a rolling cart for $75 and some sort of stand for $8 and the PODS itself is $35.
This is a completely portable storage system and can be used for displaying at home OR for putting in your car and traveling to crops.
Not sure if customers can get this one though.
They also have revealed the new class procedure.
Cyndi princess:
The portable storage system sounds awesome.

Well if that is the new product that I am not the thrilled. I guess I will have to see pictures.
Although I am curious to see the new cart and the display thing. But the retail products don't leave me very excited. The retail items above only = 89.50 so there is still 57 of things avail. The 75 cart would bring it well past that.
Well at least I know I am not signing up for autoship this month.
I still am going to the meeting on Monday so I will form my opinion when I can physically touch and see the items.

A lot of people have commented on what the 57.00 could be. I just have rumors so not sure. If someone gets to see the stuff please post back. I must say as a customer I don't see anything I gotta have. I am interested in the organization system but it looks like that will be a BE.

You know, every time I've been disappointed by something in writing, I end up happily surprised when I see it. (Well, except for teh month of B&W and Brown paper.) I'll wait 'til Monday to see. Thansk for teh heads up, though!

I hope you are right Carrie. I do know that there is no interest in my clientelle with the page patterns, the tabs and such. No one but me does 7x7 in my group so the snap packs won't do much good for them.
I am going to do a 7x7 of our Great Wolf Lodge trip so maybe the neutral snap pack might be nice.
ARGH, I will see if I can take pics on Monday. So long to wait ;)

Spoke with my upline at convention last night. She knows I was looking for a 12x12 Disney album and she hasn't heard one little peep about one coming so :(
Maybe after they discontinue the 7x7 album. She was telling me a little about some of the new products, nothing additional that was mentioned here that I recall.
The new cart isn't a cart in the traditional sense. Its like a luggage cart to stack things on. Probably those new PODS. The new storage system, which are business supplies for consultants to display product.
Also the new Triumph album. It isn't an album in the traditional sense, she said I have to scratch album out of my mind. It turns into an eisel and you can flip over the pictures. Comes with the metro paper and in a keepsake box. I guess it has everything you need, all you have to do is add the pictures. She said its kind of like trial type thing to see if they work, that kind of thing they are doing. Has the page protectors already on it.
Did tell me very briefly about the new class. I guess everyone can bring 2 pictures to a new show. You can crop them and place them on a card type thing made of the spargo pages and comes with a sticker strip, a photo mat and journaling box. Its more hands on and is a nice make and take type thing for those who have and have not scrapped before. Inbetween the plain catalog show where you don't get the hands on and doing the home class where there is a fee to make your own page.
I was told to bring 2 pictures with me to the meeting tomorrow so I could do it myself as that is what we are going to do. So it will be interesting to see.
Thats all I have but just wanted to report no word at all on any 12x12 Disney album. Keep sending in your suggestions that we really really want one at www.creativememories.com

was hoping for one as well...... :confused3 Maybe it is a disney related issue not CM.....
Like the idea of Page protectors being included, not thrilled with the flip over style idea.....sounds a bit odd to me. But I am sure others will love it.
Class sounds nice, I am having one on the 23rd. Sounds perfect for the newbies and different for the vets.

Just a comment regarding Disney Album.
it is possible that CM has "Great Ideas" for a 12x12 album. The problem comes from Disney. They are so stringent on their rules regarding lisc. new products etc. if CM's agreement is due for renewal soon, Disney will hold out permission for any new products pending the new agreement. While a company may deem Disney product a totally successful seller.... Disney wants it's chunk of the profits and doesn't work on "emotional needs of the pions who've made the company what it is." it's all one big Business Transaction. I am now leaning towards the new EK Success 12x12 Black album with Mickey's face.

I just bought the black EK success Mickey album. I wish CM would make a 12 x 12 Disney one, though. I noticed the other night (on a different thread here) that Disney Direct is selling scrapbook supplies. They are some of the same ones that are at Michael's, AC Moore, etc., here, but I wonder if that is why they are maybe not going to go through CM??? Just a thought. . . :confused3

I agree on the licensing thing, somewhat. Have you ever noticed how much Disney stuff is everywhere?? It seems as if they are handing out permission left and right. Its everywhere.

Went to the new meeting last night. I like the new "class" thing. The Get together. I think it will be nice, get some hands on, no fee and get to make something.
They didn't have all the products there. I really can't wait to try out the new software for digital. Sounds pretty neat. I guess you can print your journaling right with the picture. You can save the picture in more than one spot for example the family album and a childs album or whatnot.
The Jumbo Great Lengths didn't strike me to much. Probably because I don't do much stickers.
I didn't get to see the new snap packs. That kind of bummed me out. I did see a picture of the bright. Didn't like that one to well, reminded me of the instant replay thing they put out in June. But it was only a small picture.
I did NOT like the new Triumph album. Its basically one of those mini flip albums you can get in the store only that it turns into an easel (excuse my spelling, I just can't get that word to look right  ) A lot of the other gals that were there loved but I wasn't impressed at all.
The sassy and classy paper packs are, I think, to replace the rainbow paper packs, just in sassy and classy colors. 1 sheet of 12 of those colors. Same as the sassy and classy shortcut colors only in solids.
Some of the items are coming out in Sept and some in October. Did hear about the new Christmas album coming out in October though. I guess the 12x12 is Ivory and it has some silver embossing on it to make it look like snow swirling. Sounded pretty, I guess its more versatile than just the traditional Christmas color. I guess the 7x7 version will be a green color.
Also heard about the new Christmas stickers that will be out in October too.

OK. Here's my take:
Love the new class
Like the Memory ALbum. Would be very cute gift for a child to make for parent. COmes with enought paper to complete accents and journaling.
The jewel Snap Pack is already out. I liked it.
I LOVE the Jumbo GLs. They have coordinating squares and are kind of mix and match. They are great for non-holiday LOs. They are more generic for every day LOs. It took me a bit to figure out what they meant by Jumbo GLs. They are just sticker packs with GLs and other stickers that coordinate. The come in Blue & Aqua or Red & Pink.
The software looks cool. It makes it very easy to get to the Phot Center from there if you want also.
Learned new scoop on the photo center. People don't understand teh $0.29 cost. Howver, the photos uploaded there are triple archived. You will not have to worry about losing any photo you upload there. You could lose your hard drive or backup cd, but CM wuold still have it.
They new product collections are nice. They are very reasonable priced and come with a free gift.. They are the Organizer, The Essentials, The Cropers and The Enhancers. Much less intimidating than the old ones, although teh Memory Keepers Collection is still available.
The other problem they solved for me was the new paper packs were more difficult for beginners to choose. They have 2 sampler packs now (CLassy & Sassy), though that will help that.
It wasn't what I expected and there was not one big great thing in my mind. However, there are a lot of really good little things.

I was at Showcase and got a lot of the new product (FREE) and the Triumph album is AWESAME!!!!! I played with the new Memory Manager software last night it's nice too. The get together seems so easy I can't wait to do some. I really liked most of the new iteams. Showcase was beyond my wildest dreams I loved it, it was so worth going to I can't wait until next year. I think the Triumph album is going to be a huge hit and it helps fight Alzheimer's. Nancy :cool1:

I'd like to go next year too. I have heard some great things about it. My upline will probably walk across stage next year. She was going to promote to UL this year, has enough downline but didn't make the sales under the new career plan (which was a total lack of miscommunication by a lot of people). She chose to hold off until we (her downline) can get some consistency in ordering ;)

Carrie,
Do you mind explaining what all those product lines include?
The Enhancer, The Organizer and I think you mentioned two others.
Thanks so much! That Memory Keeper always seemed too steep.
Wondering what cost effective options they are offering now...

Beyond Basics is page patterns. Here is how the UL described it to me. Its page ideas based on the color wheel. Monocromatic, triadic and one other. Its kind of sticker light in the sense that maybe 5 layouts out of the 20 pages will have stickers. Kind of for those of us that either don't like to use or have outgrown stickers.
Will be kind of interesting to see.
