Walk from MGM to Epcot?

I was wondering if you could walk from MGM to the International Gateway at Epcot? If so, I was thinking that at my hotel, since I want to go to World Showcase, I'd take whichever bus (MGM or Epcot) shows up first, then walk to World Showcase from either stop. Does this make sense?

The Walk from MGM to Boardwalk is about 20 min long from what I've read.

The walk from Boardwalk to WS in Epcot is about 15 min long from what I've read.

It might just be better waiting for the epcot bus.

IMHO, the walk from MGM to the International Gateway is about the same as the walk from the EPCOT bus stop to World SHowcase. I think your plan will work just fine. Enjoy your trip!

There is also a boat from MGM to Epcot World showcase. I'm not sure how that would figure into your plan, but wanted to make you aware of it.

You realize that World Showcase doesn't open until 11 a.m. - right? If it were me, I'd take the boat from MGM to Epcot. You'll be doing plenty of walking in the parks - so save your feet!

Thanks, I knew WS doesn't open til 11:00 (actually I wanted to get in for an early lunch), but I totally forgot about the boat from MGM to Epcot! Don't mind walking, but the boat is so much more scenic.
