View Full Version : Lost - Tonight (Wed) 8.30 Ch4 - Watch it!
Hey,
Lost starts tonight on Channel 4 at 8.30pm. It is a really good TV programme.
It's about a plane that crash lands on a desert island 1000 miles of course, there are 48 survivors and the show explores the lives of these characters. Each episode consists of flashbacks of certain main characters lives, seeing why they act the way they do, what happened before they got on the plane and why they are there. It's a really character driven show.
The first episode is the most expensive in television history, it regularly got over 30 million viewers in america, and even if you just watch the 1st episode it's like a really good film!!
Ep 1 - 8.30 - 9.30
Ep 2 - 10 onwards

I hope you all enjoy it. In honor of the start tonight in England, I watched the first 2 eps again while the kids were napping. :)
It really is an interesting show. I didn't get hooked until several episodes in, but I am a bit obsessed with it now. One warning, if you have stayed away from spoils so far, try to resist them. The show is much better if you just see it all unfold, as opposed to running to sites that have all of last season's recaps. I'm not sure I would have been strong enough, myself, at least not at certain points. But still, just throwing that out there.

But if you do happen to miss an episode, you can get a (usually) hilarious recap at Television Without Pity (http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com).

oh yes, I highly recommend televisionwithoutpity. If you want to stay unspoiled, avoid the Lost forums like the plague, even the episode specific ones since people are commenting on them as they are rerun and happily spoiling away re: future episodes on them.
The recaps, on the other hand, are literally just regarding that episode with maybe references to previous ones. Love them. Even if I see the eps I still read the recaps.

okay, just a warning about channel 4s Lost site. They give an awful lot away here. I'm floored by what they are giving out for each of the characters. If you want to remain unspoiled, you may want to avoid it.

Watched it last night and I am hooked already :)
So many mysteries about the island and who each of the characters really are
I taped episode 3 on E4 last night and series linked the rest so DW and I will be watching that at the weekend :teeth:
Can't say Jack does anything for me though ;)

I think its on channel 4 on saturday night 10.30 - 12.30, and on E4 on sunday from 8 - 10, but you might want to check that so you don't miss it! (again ;) )

I'm probably going to get shot down in flames here but I didn't like it - thought it was a bit slow.
I will continue watching though for now to see if it gets better.

Totally hooked
The island holds many mysteries, some of the characters are not who you thought they were.

I am flummoxed by a couple of things so far so I will have to keep watching just to see why these things are (sorry to sound vague but don't want to give anything away for those who haven't seen it yet)
Perhaps we could have a new thread to discuss it on with a warning in the title for those who haven't seen it :Pinkbounc

Really loved this. At least I will have something to watch when Big Brother ends. I have stopped watching all the soaps so will have to watch this. It is Disney related as is made by their company so that is my excuse!!!!
Can't wait for the next series of the 4400 yet. I know it has started in the US again. Does anyone know if it is as good as the first series??
With no Big Brother will have more time to spend on DIS so a good thing.
Love you all.

I have watched Series 2 Episodes 1 to 5. I missed the download of 6 and am currently trying to source it. I have 7,8 & 9 waiting to watch.
Unfortunately, I have to say I have been dissapointed with the second series so far, it doesnt seem as good as series 1, which I really enjoyed.
