At Disneyland now - photos

Hi everyone. We are finishing up day 3 of our 4 day visit, our first ever to Disneyland. I'm not going to post a trip report yet, but I am posting photos to my webshots page each day.

We are having a great time and really enjoying both parks here. Some rides are better here, some are better in Florida and some are just different. And DCA is great. We don't know what people don't like about it.

Though I've never been to CA yet (only 4 more weeks!!) perhaps I'm not really entitled to an opinion yet, but I've wondered about some of the negative comments about CA too. There are many complaints about theming, but I have to wonder...isn't the whole point of the park to recreate nostalgia California? Aren't carnival like rides what California piers are all about? Every picture I've ever seen of CA (yours were beautiful) have been gorgeous and I wonder if those who don't see the theming are missing the whole point? I think they are theming it exactly as they meant to.
