Does anyone use stamps (rubber stamps) on their background paper?

I was thinking of doing some pages, (mainly Animal Kingdom) with plain white paper and then stamping a leaf design on it and then adhering my pictures to that.
For other background pages I was thinking of using pages from the brochures of the park we visited that day.

Would this look silly to do different "types" of background pages. Have designer paper on some, stamp some, use brochure pieces for others? Most of the books I've seen on 2peas, the pages are all pretty uniform.

Does this make sence?
Do you do it?

I think different things make it interesting. I use a ton of different papers for my books. I think the leaf stamping is an excellent idea for AK.

I have stamped on my background before. I usually use a colored paper though. I did some leaves on a neutral colored background before.

I match my papers and embellishments to the pictures, so mine are different each page. I tend to keep the style the same throughout the album (clean lines, simple-scrapbooking style) so I hope that maintains continuity through the album.

I think a stamped background sounds great!
