DTD Scrapbooking store

Can anyone tell me about this store. Will I see just the same things that I would pick up at Michael's or AC Moore, or will I just fall in love with the store !!!

There are things there that you sill not find elsewhere. However, don't get too excited about it. Many have posted that they were disappoitned and I must admit that the selection seemed limited to me too. Still a must see, but don't get too excited about it.

But then go to the World of Disney (if you have an AP). Most everything there is also available at World of Disney, and with your AP you get a discount! :cheer2:

Has anyone else noticed that items at WofD are more expensive then at other stores. I was looking at a sweater and it was 46.00 at my resort and 49.00 at WofD!?! Don't know if this happens with other DTD stores but there was a difference between the parks/resorts and WofD.

I noticed the same thing also, things on sale at MGM were not marked down at DTD.

Ok this might sound like a dumb question but being the newbie I am here goes..

Is there one of these in the DTD in California or is this at WDW?

I'm not sure about your question, but I was very disappointed in the scrapbooking store, so don't get your hopes up, I also found it very very expensive for what you got. I did come home with stickers though.

As far as I know, the scrapbook store is only at WDW. But you can find scrapbook merchandise at DL, too, including at the World of Disney in DTD in CA.

KatDisney: I was just there last week. In the World of Disney store in DTD (CA) there is a section with the same stuff as the scrapbook store in WDW. Maybe not quite as much stuff, but most of it was there. Look around on the aisles near there too, some of it was dispersed closeby.

Pammy jo is right. There is no separate scrapbook store in the DTD area of DL, however you can find scrapping kits in various stores in the park. You just have to look in tall the areas because they don't always carry the same product in all the stores.

I noticed the same thing about the prices being higher at DTD WoD store. However, I must say that the scissors that cut the mickey silhouette around the edges of paper are cheaper than you'll find online. I believe they were 8.00 in the store and about 13.00 online (at other scrapping booking websites).

Part of the reason the prices might be higher at DTD WoD is because of discounts to Annual Passholders. That's the only store you can use your discount in. I know it's not right, but other retailers do it.
