I thought this was funny...The Disney company has called in dog-catching experts after packs of wild strays invaded the site of its new theme park in Hong Kong.

Government agriculture chiefs and local animal protection groups were aiding the American giant following reports dozens of stray dogs were terrorising staff at the huge $ 3.2 billion resort. "We are seeking the suggestions of various organisations," Disney spokesperson Esther Wong said.

Media reports say that, Government officials impounded and killed 45 dogs last month, but dozens have returned, with a report in the Sunday Morning Post claiming the local Disney chief was chased by a snarling pack as he drove onto the site. Wong said she knew of no reports of people being chased by dogs, but stressed the company was doing all it could to ease the problem.

The Chinese don't actually eat a great deal of dog. Some, but not much. Koreans eat a lot of dog.

If a pack of wild dogs came into the Magic Kingdom, you better believe they'd be rounded up and put down, too. Also, judging by the location of "Hong Kong" Disney, these wild dogs were probably more like wolves than regular dogs.

Maybe back to basics is best. Troops armed with tranquilizer guns.

It's not safe to eat wild dogs, just as it is not safe to kill and eat Canada geese here due to pesticides inside. Even eating the deer you hunted is questionable.

Heard on the news about a restaurant serving "sea chicken", seagulls captured from outside.

Anyone for a fox farm / restaurant / furrier where the meat is served and the hide made into clothing?
