Mary Poppins

My dd is making an autograph book ahead of time for the characters to sign. She's having great difficulty coming up with a "design" for Mary's page. Any suggestions? They make Dorothy stickers, why can't they make Mary Poppins stickers???

We have seen Mary in the parks, but only in the parade! I think she is in the breakfast at CRT, too! I love Mary Poppins--I would love to see your Mary page! :cheer2:

You can find Mary in the gift shop, I believe it was in United Kingdom at Epcot. She was up front and Winnie the Pooh and Eyeore were in the back signing autographs. They don't really announce it. We found alot of characters in Epcot, in the Nations, lurking around the corners. Like I said, they really didn't announce them.

Here's Mary on Main Street in Disneyland in my sig line.
She was so cute. "Do you want a picture? Well, come on then. Spit-spot."

We also got to take a picture with her outside the 1900 Park Fare breakfast in the lobby this past July. She was in her other outfit there. She said Bert was out cleaning chimneys. He wasn't there. Too bad. I wish we could have seen him too.

I've heard that both Mary and Bert make appearances in the UK at EPCOT. Someone said to ask when you arrive at EPCOT if she will be appearing as they will generally know. I really want to meet Bert!

We actually saw Mary in the MK outside of the little tailor shop. We specifically asked at town hall because DS9 is madly in love with her. The CM said it was rare that she was in the MK. She was wearing her white outfit.

For your page I would do carousel horses and penguins since it is most likely she will be wearing the white dress.

We saw her TWO times in one Day!!!

She was outside the Castle near Tinkerbell's treasures at MK and near Norway (outside) in EPCOT!!! She was wearing her White Party dress both times. :Pinkbounc

Here is what I did for my Mary Poppins page. This is in my first paper bag album, I am using it for autographs in October. It is difficult to see, but the paper says "Let's go fly a kite", I thought that would work, then I added the umbrella charm and the spoon. The carousel was an after thought and I wish I would have found a better one, but it is only an autograph book! I would love to see what your daughter came up with!

I have a picture of both my kids with Mary Poppins and Bert at the MK! They were right outside the castle on the top near Tink's Treasures (or whatever it is called! LOL). They were just standing there and no one noticed them because we saw them both and went right over to get a picture! :) It is the only time I have seen them though in the parks.

It is the Toy store in England and MP hangs out in Libiary area. I had seen her and Bert once by Tinks treasures. I have also seen her at CRT brfst and Lunch, and norway Brfst.

I have seen her (or myself? :confused3 I am so confused) in front of the hat at MGM, she was with the pengins and in the country bounty store in Toon town -- where you have to pick one of the 3 lines but that changes to different princess during the day. I agree that the carousel and penguins would be a good choice for a layout as she in normlly in the white outfit.

The first thing that spring-ed to my mind when I read your post was the chalk drawings, but I just couldn't think how you could work that into the scrapbook!!! Then as I kept on thinking my next thought is that you could have a toy-box theme (after the tidying up scene) with blocks, toy soldiers, teddy bears and the like. Obviously it would depend on the outfit she's got on!! If you are really crafty you could do silhouettes of the roof tops of London, with a few chimney sweeps in for good measure (have a brush poking out a chimney) and maybe a flying Mary....
