I wanted to take DS13 to Disneyland. We've been to WDW a couple of times, and only have a four days to take a trip. He said everyone he talks to doesn't like DisneyLand. I can't believe it's true. If you've been to both, what do you think???????? :confused3

Well, when i was 11 my mom took me to Disney land(im almost 15 now)for my birthday. We had been to disney world MANY times before. And we both thought that we could have only been there for 2 days and have gotten to see everything becuase it is so small. But i deffinately had fun. We went on a tour that told you alot about walt disney and his dreams and it took you to places that normal tourists wouldnt even think about, walts apartment he was building and other things. It was alot of fun. I think he would he fun there. I think california adventure was my favorite though, becuase it was more modern and it was more appealing. I hope this helps. and have fun on your trip!!!

I went to DL a few years back, right before I turned 14. You will definitely be able to see everything in just a few days. I did like WDW better, but still had a good time at DL. There are some things in DL Park that they don't have in MK at WDW, such as the Alice in Wonderland ride (NOT the Teacups) and the Matterhorn. It's also interesting to notice the differences (differences being ones that only people who have been to either numerous times would recognize) such as the differences between the two Haunted Mansions or Splash Mountains. California Adventure is really cool, too, and has a lot of things not found in WDW. And I'm assuming you'll be there for the 50th anniversary, so that'll be cool to be in the original Magic Kingdom for that.

Dont forget. The Pirates of the Carribean is also different. Personally i think the rides at DL are much better! They are more fun. but there are also less(that part isnt as fun).

I have been to WDW several times, and been to Disneyland several times as well. I personally think the overall magic is much more exciting than at WDW. The park itself is easily 2 days. I LOVE Disney's California Adventure too. If you really take the time to explor DCA, it could easily take 2 days as well. The rides are MUCH better than at WDW in my opinion, and DTD is far better at DL than WDW. If I had the choice, I would pick DL everytime. Not to be missed!!!

thanks everyone. I think we may try DL and the tour idea is a good one. We haven't done one at WDW and that would make it a little more special.

yes go to dl. i love all the parks but that's where the magic happens. I think that ppl don't like it because it is a small park and it a two day thing with dca but dl is true amazing. i do wish i had four day there though.
