I have made a Button for DIS-CON with the extremely generous help of RoutemanDan ( he did all the artwork).

Linda says I will have to get petes approval for anything that has the DIS Logo, so I will try and send this to him.

We are still fine tuning it a little bit...but this is what it should look like.

It is a 2 3/4" button, and I should be able to produce them for around a $1..and that is just what the costs involved would be so it won't be a profit making venture so maybe that will help sway pete my way :D :D :D :D

Pat and Dan, it looks great! I hope Pete says OK! It would be fun to wear one of your buttons at DIS CON, and I think they would be a big help in picking DISers out of the crowd that you know from the boards but haven't met yet in person. :D :D :D Be sure to let us know how we can get them once Pete approves. :D

That looks really nice, Pat & Dan! I certainly would buy a few. I never could figure out where to put a lime-green ribbon anyway. :D

Below I think is the final version of the button unless Dan thinks it needs some changes.
(that is just light reflection on the right side)

I am going to send this to pete in an email for his aproval.

Thanks Again RoutemanDan for your help....it was Above and beyond the call of Duty.

SO I nominate you for a DIS-CON Commando, even though you won't be able to attend.

we have gotten some great feedback on it, and I want to thank you again for your hard work.

It isn't very often that people give so freely of their time, and was not unnoticed.

I sent a note to Pete to get his approval, and If there is anything you want to change let me know. As for me I think it looks FANTASTIC.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I wish you were able to join us this year, but even though you are not...you have been made an honorary DIS-CON Commando. Wear it with pride :D :D

Thanks again...you have been a great sport...I know how hard it is to convey your percption through IM's and Emails, and you did a great job.
