I loved looking at all the pics! EE looks massive in person, and that's far from the construction. I hope I don't chicken out when it finally opens!
Thanks for sharing!!

Yes, finally a ride I can get Kari to go on... She has a thing, she'll try anything once. But I have yet to get her on Space Mountain. Maybe when her friend Vickie comes down for the holidays we can drag her on it.
Any speculating dates for it?

He stole them from YenSid1 at wdwmagic and did not give him or the site any credit.

And how did YenSid1 get them do you suppose? I'm willing to bet if Ei$ner finds out which construction worker {YenSid1?} took those pictures, he'll be off the job quicker then Ovitz! :teeth:

???
He is linking to the photos on that site. YenSid1 gets full credit because they are in his album there. The OP stole nothing.
How YenSid1 got them, well that is a problem for WDWMagic to worry about. I'm betting there is someone at Disney flipping out, but who knows.

Not really. YenSid is not a construction worker, and the photos were not taken by a construction worker.

In my opinion he should still mentione the site, and source in the original post. But hey what do I know.

Didn't know that I had to and frankly, one could assume once they followed the link (since I didn't post the actual pictures) they were located at wdwmagic..where I have seen you post as well peter11435.
WebmasterCricket, thank you for the validation and Mitros..thanks for the laugh!
Oh and also, Leveling an accusation of theft is somewhat..slanderous. I merely referred to a website.

OK, I'll bite, if he is not a construction worker, is he a CM? Wow, Ei$ner would be even more PO'd then he was with Katzenberg about that one. I can see the poor CM being led out of the front gate and receive a big kick in the keester out into the street. One does NOT cross Ei$ner! :rotfl: :teeth:

It builds up anticipation, has people scheduling vacations to go on the ride when it first opens, and doesn't cost a dime. People love rumors, gossip, inside info, etc., its human nature. Disney throws outs scraps, and we eat them up.
By the way, I'm betting for a soft opening in late January.

I never meant to sound rude. If I did I am sorry. I was just responding to the question of where you got the pictures. I was only trying to point out that they were not yours, and at the same time give credit to YenSid1 who has been a great asset when it comes to Everest updates.

Didn't mean to stir things up, honestly. I just thought maybe you were there working on the site.
Hadn't thought that Disney would be PO'D about them or anything. Frankly I don't think they mind all that much as the other posters' mentioned , it builds anticipation and gives free advertising for a new ride

It's like political leaks. They act shocked, but it was their intention all along. Believe me, Disney is not freaking out over this! :confused3

Someone get a cup of hot water.
His tongue is frozen firmly in his cheek.
Or let's reverse it. Are you saying that Ex:E is Pirates 4.0? (Pirates, Splash=2.0, Indy = 3.0)?
Or is it R'n'R...a fun coaster that could be at home in any park in the world.

My impression of this attraction is that it's really nothing more than an off-the-shelf roller coaster with some outdated decoration. A cheap, subcontracted effort that will, more than likely, lead to more accidents and guest injuries.
Basically, it's nothing more than a ploy to sell plush copulating Yetis.
I believe it will be a mix of "Dinosaur" type thrills mixed with a Big Thunder type coaster. Do you mean "off the shelf" as in "not enough thrills"? If the "theming and thrills" of Disney coasters aren't to your liking, maybe Six Flags might be a better choice for your vacation. pirate:

Are you serious. Everest is in no way an off the shelf coaster. No more so than thunder mountain. I haven't got a clue where your outdated comment comes from, let alone the rest of your post. I hope your post is an example of sarcasm.

Ok guys......I admittedly haven't been following along, but reveal yourself Frozen Tundra! I was wondering who reinvented his or her self, but haven't invested the energy to try and figure out who.
Scoops post was amusing to the old guard, or at least the non tres old guard ;), but that doesn't really get too much mileage nowadays, does it?
Scoop - how is that 'keeping the Wisdoms alive' thing going? Seemed rather abbreviated to me.

What?
Can't a Car 1.5 guy agree with his Car 3 and 4 brethern that Ex:E is a blatant and unapologetic Disney sellout in the classic sense of the Card Walker era?
You could.
But you don't.
RnR? Or Pirates 4.0?

Don't forget "great rest room"

it is a great restroom! and until the rest of the park opens it has it's very own music!
Besides the contortionist family performs very close to that restroom which gives me a great place to run and puke whenever they bend their bodies in ways unnacceptable in any disney restaurant.

Scoop-On the dis? please.
Cris-The matterhorn was a nice wonder back in 1959 but they really aren't comparable as far as they look.
Disney has called in their rock painters from the China parks just for this project and it looks incredible. I really had no idea they could make a 200 ft. peak look as tall as it looks, from every angle, including from Kissimmee it looks like a distant mountain in Florida.
Matterhorn-Oh look, that looks like a mountain
Everest-Oh look, that IS a mountain
It passes the smell test from the distance, as for close up or while going by at 30mph, it may be a different story, but I doubt it.

Scoop, no I haven't seen any other pictures. On the inside I mean. Of course I have seen all the ones circling the internet of the construction phases. If you have better ones that show me that it indeed does not look like the Matterhorn, I would be happy to see them.
Bret, I will get back to you on that. I don't know if we have discussed this. You must not know my disappointment that they are doing this. Yes, the village looks wonderful, but it is a bigger Matterhorn. Gosh darn it, do something different!
Ok, won't get into this with you here.
