Has anyone noticed a pattern for what time of day Southwest releases it airfares? I think it has to be during the week so the TA's can scoop up most of the early deals. It would save a lot of time not having to check all hours of the day. I'm talking about when a new group of dates are released. I know that the actual date they put them up will vary but wondered about the time of day. Thanks! :teeth:

The last two release times have been right around 11:00 EST. This last release was actually done twice. I happened to be on SW checking to see if it had been released yet and had just hit the update button. I was on the phone immediately with them to make my res since I have 2 free tix to use. In the minute it took me to get through and have them start making my res the system kicked the release out and it went back to the old release date. They then took 2 more days to re-release and it happened about the same time of day. What I usually do when it is close to the release date is keep it up on my computer and just hit refresh periodically.

I had heard that most airlines tend to release rates late...like close to midnight.

I have read on flyertalk that SWA releases new dates on Thursdays at 11 EST.
I* spoke to SW rep and she told me that they release every Tuesday, no mentin of time of day.
