It seems the Disneyland site is slow on posting hours and entertainment information. Also I can't seem to find when things are scheduled for refurbishment on the site, but other sites seem to have lists of a few things that are due for refurbishment this fall. How do they find this info and can I trust it? I was at visionsfantastic and they listed Small World as being down after Halloween until Nov 10th, which falls on my dates. I know it is silly, but I haven't seen Small World in a few years since it was down at WDW and I don't want to miss it. There's nothing I can do about it, but since no one else was listing this a being down for then, I was hoping this site was wrong. Does anyone have any info such as if they heard it will be down this time frame, or anything else that will help me? Thanks!

I can't help on the exact dates, but IASW does go under refurbishment when they change to the holiday overlay, so that may be the time frame this year.

The last few years Haunted Mansion has shut down in September to transform into Nightmare Before Christmas Mansion which opens the beginning of October. At about that time, Small World shuts down to transform into Small World Holiday and opens the beginning of November.

DL
Haunted mansion 9-12 to 9-29 for Haunted mansion holiday install
It's a small World 10-24 to 11-10 for Small World Holiday install
DCA
nothing
usually when Small World comes up is about the time the rest of the xmas stuff is out, so look for the park to be decorated for christmas around the begining of November.
I get my info from a CM. Either they haven't announce any all that is planned, or because of the 50th, they're trying not to have too much down for rehab, because this is a very unusual schedule. Usually there would be a lot more expected to be down in Sept-Nov.

Wow, I hope they don't change this. I'm going there for the first time (and only time in the foreseeable future) 9/11-13, and will hopepfully dodge the bullet and get to go on HM. Last May I went to WDW, and IASW was supposed to be going down right after or during my trip, but it went down a week early and was also down in November, so I haven't been on that one since 1988!

Thanks for the info. I guess my Nov2-6th trip I'll miss Small World. Screamin too from the sound of things. Oh well, no use getting upset over things I can't change. There will be plenty to do!
