Just wanted to pop in and say HI! I'm your neighbor in Bensalem. My tip would be get up early and be there when the parks open, Go to Walmart or Walgreens and buy Misty Fans before you go $5 at walmart $17 at Disney.

Have fun.

 Hello neighbors

I always bring a washcloth/face towel for my DN when I take him... wet it with cold water place it behind his neck to cool him off while waiting for lines... also good to keep to refresh their faces being under the hot sun!

Welcome! We are also going at the end of August--not 1st trip but first w/ daughter. I'd say relax and understand that you won't see everything! There is so much to do--grab some good books (passporter!) and make some lists about MUST SEES-then, when you get there, see those and anything else is a bonus! Have fun. We're practically neighbors too-South Jersey!

It is a great planning guide that you can get either at a bookstore or online at passporter.com- basically it has planning tips-suggestions for hotels, gives rating of restaurants and (the really neat aspect) is "pockets" that are included to collect maps, receipts, whatever and you can also write in information about your day--weather, prices you paid for meals, best and worst things about each day. It has has some planning worksheets so you can keep track of your PS # and develop a schedule. I love it. DH calls it my bible! FOr our honeymoon I had the basic addition-we still look over it to relive the memories! FOr this trip, I upgraded to the deluxe-it's leatherbound and has ring binders (??) so you can take out pages or update information as needed.
Good luck

Thank You! :teeth:

Quick Question: I'm a 20 year old male, I'm going to disney and want to enjoy the nightlife too!, would my age prohibit this? If anyone know of places that play latin music please post. Cause I'm a dancer (perfrom with a latin dance team) and would love to check out some spots while down there! any suggestions?

and thanks again for the welcomes!

Bongo's Cuban Cafe at Disney's West Side plays Latin Music but I don't know if they would have dancing. I have never been there. There are some Nightclubs at Pleasure Island that you have to be 21 to get into. Disney is very strict on this and you will be asked for ID.

Thanks!

Yeah I heard Bongo's Cuban Cafe, is nice and they play salsa music, but it may not be a club type atmosphere. But Latin Quarters, some where in City Walk Universal (not sure), I hear thats the place to be if you want to dance some salsa!, but again I'm staying in the park, with no transportation, so whats the best way getting there, and how far is it?

I think the only way you would be able to get to City Walk would be to rent a cab or rent a car for one day.
