Disneyland Info

WDW has a video you can order with info on the parks, does DL have the same??? I went to the Disneyland website but couldn't find a place to order info, like there is on WDW and DCL websites. Anyone know if DL has this, I have time, I'm planning my trip for 2007.

DL did have a DVD offered that featured the 50th anniversary celebration. Many on the forum received it and were very disappointed in it. It was basically just an 8 minute DL commercial. It was definately not the same as the very detailed and wonderful WDW vacation planning DVD.

I found the thread here and the link to order the DVD did not work for me. I'm not a real techie so I may have done something wrong.

Hopefully someone else will have more info for you.

That is correct..I did order the DL video..and I have it also..it is completely useless..don't bother

I did a search for Disneyland travel video in the search engine and got a dvd entitled "Disneyland Resort Video Guide". I don't know if this is the same video that the others are talking about, but I do know that mine is longer than 8 minutes. Mine is almost an hour long and it goes through each of the "lands" in both parks as well as the hotels and DD. I mainly got it so I could show my 5 year old what to expect and what some of the rides look like. It gives more of a quick overview than any tips. I think it cost around $40. My kids like to watch it and it has served a purpose for me in that sometimes the unknown frightens my kids and so if they are allowed to become a little more familiar with what to expect then the trip won't be so overwhelming to them.

Sorry I can't remember the exact name of the website where I purchased this, but I do know it was not from a Disney sponsored site. It was from an independent business.

here on long island, we have this digital service that u can play disney world videos on, but they do have one on disneyland. at the end, there is a link to order ur dvd, i just did mine 2 weeks ago, so im waiting to see if i ever get it now... here is the link to order it, let me know if u get it! www.disneyland.com/dvdny good luck!
