I'm looking to get a stroller for my ds for our trip. He's 7 1/2, but he has asthma and gets tired easily. He's 45 pounds and 48 inches tall. Can someone tell me where I can find the weight limits on the MacLaren strollers?
Also, I was thinking of just biting the bullet and buying 2 (one for my younger dd). What are the clips (to hold 2 together) that people are referring to and where do you purchase them?
Thanks so much!

Their website is a great place to start.
I just bought my first Maclaren stroller last week and chose the Quest. I chose it because it holds up to 55lbs and it seems to fit a taller child better than the others.
I love it! I believe the Triumph also has a 55lbs weight limit.
Those connectors can be bought at Babies R Us.

The weight limit is 55lbs.I believe that is for all Maclarens.I have a 2004 Triumph and a 2004 Twin Traveler and both are 55lbs per seat.My dd is 7yo,50lbs and 48 inches and fits fine in both.HTH!

Volo is also 55 pound weight limit. I would call Maclaren and check the weight limit on a stroller you are intrested in. When I bought mine, I called and there were only the Volo and one other model that were up to 55 pounds per the customer service rep. Just make sure- the rep could have been wrong in what he told me, or things could have changed. I have DD who will just have turned 7 when we go. ORdered the Volo a few months back and I love it. Pushes like a dream with DD in it. She is about 43 pounds now. :flower:
