Okay what gives? If I were going on the repo cruise that returns the Magic back to its home, I would be on these boards jumping for joy :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Where are you guys?

I feel like an anxious mom, sitting on the sidelines waiting for the game to start, but there is no sign of either team.

I'm sure you're busy packing, shopping and dancing around your houses. But check in here once in a while and let us know how you are controlling your excitement.

I expected a few posts saying "I CAN HARDLY WAIT"....but it's been too quiet! Now if you're having second thoughts and need someone to replace, you....send me a PM! I volunteer!

Seriously - just wanted to wish you all the best. Bring her home safe and sound.

Here's to calm seas and fair winds!!!

Were am I???? Well,,,, last night.... had another bad dream.... it was 2:30 in the afternoon..... when I had originally thought it was 5:30.... .and we hadn't even left for the port. They wouldn't release the rental van to my uncle because the guy knows my husband.... so, he was going to drive over there.... but, there wasn't time for that..... can't he fax something?????? This is about my 4th something's gone wrong dream!

I did do some packing today. I bagged up all the toiletries...filled in as much of the docs as I could.... can never figure out that darn bahamas immagration form.....

checked these boards every.... oh..... 15 minutes for something new and exciting that I don't already know from checking these boards every.... oh... 15 mintues for the last 4 months.....

That's where I am..... :cool1: Very excited, but, starting to feel the crunch of getting ready to be gone for 2 weeks. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Hi Buzzboys mom, I have 4 boys so I love your tag line, we are so lucky.
The repo crusiers have been chatting in other areas and have made tons of plans to get together, starting the week before at DL, etc. Wish you were coming with us....................

The Repo Cruisers are well organized and new folks come out of the woodwork every day to join in the chatter and planning!

We can't wait! I don't think folks in my office can wait they are so sick of hearing me chatter about it!

It's been my excuse to blog as well! I'm very grateful to the May Repo Cruisers who have shown us the way and offered feedback on excursions and happenings.

Well,,,, last night.... had another bad dream....

Oh, too funny... I was on the May Repo -- what the time of my life. Oh, soooo wonderful. My DD6 just pulled out the Panama Canal map and said "I remember that' I was just smiling.

But, my nightmare... a couple of weeks before the trip I woke up in a cold sweat. I dreamt I was at the checkin counter at DCL without the passports -- and they were in the safety deposit box at the bank! Needless to say, that very same day, I went to the bank and retrieved the passports. I felt much better!

Have a wonderful time. The canal was just awesome!

Needless to say, that very same day, I went to the bank and retrieved the passports. I felt much better!</I>

I had that nightmare in real life, almost. We're on the upcoming repo and we just moved in June. My dh asked me where our passports are, and I told him with upmost assurance that they were in the folder we keep stuff like that in, along with marriage license, kid's birth certificate, car titles, etc. He said "Nah uh. I just looked." :earseek:

I ran and got the folder and looked all through it and sure enough, they weren't there! He had a pretty good idea of which (still unpacked) box they were in, and we looked through it and found them. Phew! I told him I was glad he asked me that three weeks before the cruise rather than 3 hours before we had to leave! :earboy2:

So now we're starting to pack and can't wait! Less than three weeks! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

What have I been doing? - last minute shopping today. Need some new hot and humid weather clothes. I want to be out on the deck no matter how hot it is. Right now there are clothes all over the bed.
By the way I'm JSCTRICO4's mom and I'm the one they all tease about being a "Worry Wart" :confused3
The van will be there to pick them up and then it's on to the port. Our driver is a commercial fisherman and can find San Pedro in his sleep - so not to worry.
We too are struggling with our plans for Acapulco.
I better get my Disney stuff hidden away - the grandkids are coming tomorrow and we are keeping the cruise a surprise. :cheer2: It's getting harder and harder. They will be back in school for 1.5 weeks before we leave so we think we have them fooled.

Well - our suitcases are coming down from the attic this weekend. The new ones (2 ROLLING garmet bags & 1 lg suitcase) will need to be decorated. Going with Mickey Head prints & another castle - a great way to make sure no one walks off with your bags by accident - and makes spoting them easy.

We aren't posting as much since we go to our other area, since some of our posts do not fit the Dis Board guidelines.

Trust me -- the excitement is building :cheer2:

Where are the Repo cruisers? I think all we are doing is waiting? Haven't got our doc's yet. Driving everyone crazy at work because this is all I can talk about, plus having a hard time at work trying to stay focused. Some times they find me just staring off in space. Already packed.

I'm busy getting the family organized! I don't have kids yet, but I am the "Cruise Director" for my family. I have been sending e-mails and updates to those in my cruising group. We're all very excited! Thanks to those that are excited for us! I have never had a 14 day vacation so I'm wondering how I'm ever going to go back to work afterwards.

Last night I actually spent an hour and a half trying on my cruise clothes and choosing dinner outfits. I guess it just hasn't fully "hit" me yet! I am eagerly awaiting my docs....maybe THAT will help! I am currently starting a betting pool (just kidding) as to how many smoothies my Father-in-law will consume in 14 days! Any bets? Ha ha ha!

Good luck to everyone that's trying to fit two weeks of clothes and pirate gear in a suitcase! I know I'm going to have one of those "HEAVY" stickers on my luggage!

17 more days until I fly outta the midwest!!!! :cool1:

Believe me the repo cruisers are out in force chatting and planning!!! My son just left to drive to Tempe, AZ from New York yesterday to go to school so we were very busy getting him set to go....I miss him terribly but at least now I can use his room to gather my stuff and get packing!!!

Iam also the "cruise director for our group" and I keep my two cruising friends busy with what are we bringing and we talk constantly about this trip and we cannot wait!!! Pirate gear is being collected....outfits being tried on, door signs being prepared, checking out the window all the time for docs delivery, eating strategies being discussed, etc.

We leave 2 weeks from Thursday!!!! My family is not joining me on this cruise and they are sick of hearing me talk about it!!!

I expected a few posts saying "I CAN HARDLY WAIT"....Yep, we're all excited and can't wait. But unfortunatly real life is sticking it's head into a lot of our lives. In order to be gone from work for two+ weeks, some of us have a lot of work to get done - so we can enjoy the cruise.

Where am I? Humm let's see. Today I :

interupted a meeting at work to aruge with DCL because they overbooked tea and needed to move me.

Had a small temper tantrum because the cleaners tried to remove a spot from my formal dress (that I have been dieting to fit in for six months) and messed up the dress. :sad2:

I am currently off to the disney site to download another bahama immigration form since there was only one sent with my documents. pirate:

Then I'm off to raid daughters closet for a formal that will fit. :wizard:

After that I am packing a box of gifts for the folks that have volunteered their rooms for the room tour to be shipped to the ship.

Hopefully I'll have some time tonight to touch base with some of the other Fools. :grouphug:

What I really need is a day the I'm not consumed with this trip :rotfl2:

:sad2: What I really need is a day the I'm not consumed with this trip :rotfl2:

Let's see...a day not consumed..I do not think it will happen for some time. Of course after the trip will be the dreaded unpacking, :guilty: laundry, finding a place to store all the things I purchased that were suggested on the many packing tips threads, :confused3 laudndry, printing the pictures, and more laundry. And of course telling anybody and everybody about how fabulous the trip was. Getting Heather ready to go back to school and then the dreaded post cruise blues. :sad2: A day not consumed should happen right about the end of October just in time to get ready for Halloween. :maleficen We are all going to be dressed in Pirate or Princess for Halloween so at least that is one less thing to worry about.

Bummer about your dress. You still have a little time to go shopping. :rotfl:

15 1/2 days (and only 6 days of work) :cheer2: :sunny:
