I already have my e-tickets from Delta for travel in October. Is there a way to change your flight without incurring the additional charge? I want to change from Indianapolis, IN to Columbus, OH due to better departure times from Columbus. I realize I would have to pay the additional ticket price ($14.00) but I don't want to pay the $50 charge.

You will incur the charge. I believe it is 50.00 for Delta Express and 75.00 for Delta shuttle and 100.00 for Delta air.

The only time I have been able to change a flight without getting charged was when I was using frequent flyer miles to purchase the ticket. This was on TWA.

The only other time is if they make the slightest change in the itinarary. One of the Delta reps. said there would be some changes in Sept. But they don't seem to always call with changes. check the site often, even if they change the take off flight slightly you can try to change it. It's not a rule but sometimes you get a nice rep. that might do it. I did it once and it worked, for a 1 hour change in take off.

he/she is not only changing the flight, but the location. I doubt he/she can escape the charge.
