I always have chewed gum on a plane when it goes up or down.
My DS is fine with gum. My DS does not chew gum (a bit on the young side).
Could she suck on a lollipop when the plan acends or decends ?
We are flying Delta.
Should I call the airline to see if lollipops are OK ?
Thanks for any suggestions :)

Wally Mart sells ear plugs called "Ear Planes". They sell both adult and kiddies sizes. These plugs have a speciel "valve" in them that equalizes the pressure in your ears. They cost about $3-5 per pair and can be used more than once. I get severe headaches from flying so I won't fly without them!:pinkbounc

another things the pediatrician had me do with my DD when she was younger adn flying. have them drinking as you go up or down. with either a bottle or sippy cup. the swallowing is what helps in that case.

Lollipops are fine, I suggest the safety pops. But a sippy cup is better.

Use a sports bottle with water in it. My DD has used them since she was 2 on her first plane ride and it works fine. Besides, airplanes are so dry and dehydrating that it solves two problems at once!
