SHAW DIGITAL SERVICE...Calgarians???

They are going to be offering service in Winnipeg very soon..looks like 55.00 a month will cover all our phone charges/long distance/and all those extra features (voicemail/call forward ect.). This is great as my mts bill is always at least 75.00.
But seeing at it is a new service here in mb I wanted some feedback from others who have it....I understand it has been in Calgary for a while.

Although we don't have it (we have DSL from Telus), some good friends of ours have the phone service and are very happy with it. They say the quality is excellent and the flat rate is a great deal. They have absolutely no complaints.

(Personally I'm not a Shaw fan - we have satellite TV, and Telus phone service, so we won't be signing up for Shaw phone service. Our hope is that Telus will lose enough customers to Shaw that they will have to offer a similar product)

We have Shaw digital phone service in Edmonton, and we love it! Our bill was usually over $100 each month, adn now it is only $58 incl tax! It's great knowing exactly what it is going to be each month. They use a modem to connect the phone into a cable outlet. Service has been great, which I can't say for Telus. Their customer service has always been lacking in my experience.
