I am considering getting a mickey head henna tattoo for upcoming WDW trip. Has anyone ever had a henna tattoo before and if so, can you please tell me all about it? Also, I live near Peterborough and wondering if there is anywhere in the area that you would reccommend?
Thanks

I had a henna tattoo done in June..it lasted about 3 weeks. You leave the paste on as long as possible-that way the tattoo will be darker. I left the paste on for about 5 hours. Don't use any lotions/ suncreene ect on it. If you apply just a bit of cooking oil on it-it will make it last longer!

I found with the henna tattoo's I had they lasted like 3 days. So Like Charles, I went and got inked about 10 years ago. Ive got a Mickey head on my ankle, its just the outline of the mickey symbol but its what I wanted and I like it a lot. Ive always wanted to get a second one, I just dont know what I want

I had the same experience. The longer you leave the paste on the better. ::yes::

Before anyone gets a henna tattoo, I strongly suggest seeing this:

EK! Scary thoughts...

I like real ink better - I have 2. They can get infected too though, thankfully, mine have never. Just take care of them properly.
