Way to go Southwest Airlines!!!

I just bought our airline tickets on Southwest (their internet site) from Buffalo to Orlando and am SO HAPPY we are not driving anymore!!!!! Had 3 free return tickets and only had to buy 3 more ($364.50US TOTAL for ALL 3!!!!!). We would spend that amount driving with hotels, gas, food.... and who wants to spend over 50 hours in the car with 4 small kids?!? Found parking at the Buffalo airport for $32US for a week and using Tiffany Towncar for airport transfers ($90US for a van with a grocery store stop). Couldn't be happier - now the fun part of leaving home at 5:15am but WHO CARES!!!!!!

Way to go!!!!! That's great! As for driving with 4 small kids... DH and I are too chicken to even consider that long of a drive with only 2 small kids! LOL! Wish we had better access to some of the US gateways! :sunny:

We are driving this Dec with a 5 year old and a seven month old but they both love being in the car so for us it is no big deal we leave at 8 pm and drive through the night. We then stop for breakfast and get back on the road with a stop for lunch and a run around for the 5 year old then a stop for the night in Valdosta. Then up and gone by 8 am we even found a hojo's I think or a comfort suites there for 49 bucks for the night. We also love the drive it is so peacefull and beautiful.

It is 32.00 per week to park but since we were going for
almost two weeks we paid 99 to stay overnight at the
Radisson right near the hotel and parked for free.
