Thanks for your insight on air fares for this fall Beverly Lynn! I checked today and Delta's fares BDL to MCO actually increased from $180 to $197 for my dates of travel. USAir is at $136 and I wish Delta would match it so that I could use those darn vouchers.

Do you (or any other airline experts) know when fares usually drop for fall? I'm traveling between the big holiday periods (11/28 departure & 12/2 return). My recollection is fuzzy but I thought fall specials were announced around Labor Day last year. I want to avoid booking now only to have fares drop again to get vouchers I might not be able to use since our vacation plans (not Disney :( ) for 2002 are already firm.

some will hit right after labor day but they usually are for travel up to dec 15-20th. by mid oct there should be wonderful fares out. and inbetween labor day and mid oct there should be a few other sales out as well.
