If you like your rides fast and extreme, you must join the Walt Disney World Thrill Ride Tour during the DIS Convention. This is not a time to drive slower than Grandma at Tomorrowland Speedway or take a slow boat in Pirates of the Caribbean!

The tour will occur on November 29. We will all meet 8:45 am outside the Grand Harbor South at the Yacht Club Convention Center (where the character breakfast will be). The tour will stop at every thrill ride in Walt Disney World and end at the 8:00 pm exclusive ride time at the Tower of Terror. The groups will hit the following rides:

Epcot: Test Track, Body Wars

Magic Kingdom: Splash Mountain*, Space Mountain, Barnstormer, Mad Tea Party, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Animal Kingdom: Kali River Rapids*, Dinosaur

Disney-MGM Studios: Tower of Terror, Rock N Roller Coaster

*Weather permitting

My 10yo DD would love to be part of one of the tours but DH and I aren't too sure. Is there anyone that wouldn't mind her joining your group? Not sure if she's old enough for the teen group and I'd be more comfortable if she was with an adult. I will have a cell phone and can give her one so she can stay in touch. She loves thrill rides - really looking forward to the TOT ERT and can actually probably ride it for the 2 hours.

Thanks you guys! Let's put her on Patrick's list and we'll try to let her meet you Wednesday. She can be a little shy but it doesn't last long, she was riding TOT solo on our last trip - I went to the Fastpass entrance and met her at the exit. She was helping some of her fellow riders though it. :p

Barb - I cancelled my convention registration several days ago. It was both a budget decision and a spend the time with my family decision...and very difficult for me to do. My DH felt that after 3 solo trips to WDW in the past year, I should stick with my family on this trip! However, I still plan to go to Jellyrolls on Wednesday night, do the thrill ride tour on Thursday (I think the rest of the family will be at IOA), karaoke on Friday night, and MVMCP on the 2nd - after the rest of the family returns home. You just won't see me stuffing my face with desserts while watching Fantasmic and Illuminations!

Seeing what you said about the change in hours, I guess I'm not sure if you're splitting into groups now or not, but if you are still doing that, I would like to be with Push it to 11 if possible. But however things fall into place...just sign me up! Except I CANNOT under any circumstances go on Body Wars! I wish there was a green-faced smilie to express how I feel about that ride!!

I will be more than happy to hold any purses, backpacks, camcorders, etc. while everyone else is on the ride. Sorry, everyone will have to lug their own stuff around afterwards, though; I'm no Sherpa!! :p
