Primeval Whirl

Others may have posted this, but I didn't see it, so I apologize for any duplication. In the DVC member "Vacation Magic" magazine, DVC announces the following new attraction to be added to the Animal Kingdom in Spring 2002:

Primeval Whirl- This "prehysterical" spinning rollercoaster is a wacky run that sends riders through a maze or curls, hills and drops. Even throught he jaws of a dinosaur! Each car is free-spinning so you never know how great or small a spin you will be in.

Scoop, the info given is a generic "Spring" 2002 for PW.

The same magazine is saying Dino-Rama opens Winter 2001. The blurb also says "expect a dino-sized surprise for kids rising from the giant tin top at the hub of it all."

You should get to try both unless Spring drags into May (although I guess it does on the calendar, doesn't it).

Originally, the schedule was to have Triceratops Spin and the carny games open late this year with Primeval to follow in spring of next.

The very same "Vacation Magic" magazine lists Triceratop Spin as "Opening Winter 2001". I'm keeping my fingers crossed for our 12/2 visit, but I'm afraid that it may not open until late December in time for the Christmas/New Year rush. With any luck it will soft-open a little sooner.
