We went to a local farmer's market yesterday and there was a man selling cinnamon roasted pecans and almonds just like at Epcot. I bought two packages and my husband and I ate them while walking around pushing the stroller. I felt homesick, LOL. I'm such a geek, right? :p

No you're not a geek. Although hopefully you'll never find Turkey Legs made the special way Disney does. The homesickenss could give you respiratory shock. :teeth:

Well if your a geek than so am I! I just love the scent of pink carnations by Yankee Candle. I was presented a pink carnation last year on Mothers Day weekend and I just love the scent now. Give me a pink carnation over a dozen roses anyday! :)

Until recently, I never thought to have roasted nuts as a snack. Just wasn't anything I had ever been exposed to, so I never really had the opportunity.
Anyhow, a couple trips ago, based on a thread on the DIS, my DF and I decided to try all the snacks that everyone considered they're "favorites."
Roasted Almonds are now my favorite snack! I always grab a bag right before heading into World Showcase, then we head over to Mexico to grab a Margarita for my DF.
Sigh. 7 more weeks! I can't wait!!!

Well, to me they are a memory of holiday season in Bavaria! Much as I love them, I only buy them at Epcot during holiday season.....
I used to make several kilos of them every year!

Geek here too. I was walking around an outdoor mall recently and they played one of the old pre-show songs from Illuminations. That made me miss BOTH Epcot and the old pre-show music. I went home and had to listen to the old music again.

I guess some people must live sheltered lives. :) Every flea market, carnival, and fair I've been to for the last fifteen years sells those nuts. Nothing special (though they are quite yummy), IMHO, since you can get them almost anywhere. But, glad it made you happy and gave you Disney memories.

The first time I ever tried the cinnamon roasted ones was at WDW, but you're probably right and I'll see them everywhere now, LOL.

Our whole family can join the circle! On our way home from our 4th of July trip, we stopped at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast. There was music playing the in the background, but I guess I was not paying attention to it, my 6 year-old gets all excited and says, "Hey, It's Wilderness Lodge music!" (it was one of the songs that is frequently played)
