Their are instructions available here (http://www.geocities.com/koolaidpurse/) or here (http://www.wwvisions.com/craftbb/papercrafts/2811.html) or wacky sack (http://www.wackysack.com/catalog/index.php) at this site you must pay for the various instructions. Also their are various other ideas here (http://www.jamacreations.com/contactus.html) but not the instructions how to make the various items.

Hi! I'm LewDyan's neice. I made a capri sun purse with my best friend and it came out really cute. First you need 11 capri sun pouches (or cool aid) for a small tote size bag. Cut a hole in the bottom of each pouch in order to clean it out. Then you take three pouches and sew them side to side. Repeat this with another three to create the sides of the bag. Sew these two sets of three together using one more pouch in between them. This should make a long line of 8 puches sewn together at the sides. Now take two of the remaining three pouches and sew the top of one to the bottom of the other. Now sew the 8 pouches so they form a rectangle. Sew your two pouches to the bottom of the 8 to make the bottom of your purse. Sew the last capri sun pouch about 2 inches down the middle pouch on the back of the purse. Now sew a big button to the front of the purse. Sew a ribbon into the last pouch so that it can hook over the button, keeping the purse closed. Now you may want to make a lining inside the purse, out of pieces of felt. Finally, choose a fun piece of ribbon and tie it to both ends of the purse as a handle. Ta Da!!!! You now have a beautiful capri sun purse. When I made mine, it took about 2-3 hours with sidetracking and having to figure out how to do it (I didn't have a pattern, I just winged it) Have fun!

It's very strudy. DNiece carries hers a lot. It is made from the juices the kids drink, you know, where they poke the straw in? It's more of a heavy duty foil.

That really is very cute. But what kind if tote do you use? The regular canvas one @ craft stores?
Thanks! Kathy

I am not sure I understand your question. You don't use a tote, the drink wrappers make the tote.

OH! I thought you used the wrappers and attached them to cover the Tote.
Wow! My kids drink this stuff all the time and Capri's as well. I wouldn't of thought the wrappers would hold up on their own!
Thanks for clearing it up! Kathy

Hi, its me again(been away) Thanks for all the information. DD12 has been saving the pouches along time, and so has her friend. Now to go buy another sewing machine. I had one and just sent to see if the fixer could put my tention knob back on. Well for $110.00 NO WAY. I can go get my self a small new one for that.
