Arriving at HRH for a week on the 11th August.I'm thinking of upgrading to concierge on arrival like we did three years ago.Any ideas's of the cost or any special offers? :drinking1

They still give cds out.

We'd reserved gardenview; there were no upgrades to poolview using my loews card, but when the room wasn't ready at 4:30, I went back to Loew's check in, and the rep at the desk discovered we were due to be put in a pet room, which was noted on our ressie as being impossible. He "found" a poolview.

But it's very crowded and there are no deals to be had upon check-in. I'd call Loews directly to see what sort of advance arrangements you might be able to make

Is the access to the parks from behind the pool/Beach Club area still blocked off?

you can go through the pool area to the gate which goes to the parks one way and water taxi/Portofino the other way.

They were mentioning another path which is blocked, and I'm only vaguely remembering
