I just booked my very 1st rental car!!

How does this sound to you all?

I went through National Emerald Aisle. I reserved a full size 2/4 door for 10 days for $282.62 using my DC.

Does this seem reasonable? And, being an Emerald Club member, does that allow us one free upgrade? (I loaned by Disney folder [BIBLE ;)] with all my planning info. to a friend and honestly don't remember)

If I don't get an upgrade, will this be big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (14 & 11)? Maybe I should check into a mini-van, and just deal with the added expense.

Jillybee, the important thing to remember is, with Emerald Aisle, you are only guaranteed what you actually reserved. If you reserved a full size, the price quoted was technically for a Intermediate, so that, in effect, is the free upgrade. You should be guarenteed what you reserved, but you may find somthing bigger or nicer on the aisle. It all depends on luck it seems. Depending on the luggage you are bringing, the full size should be fine. I am using one on my upcoming trip for 4 people. The ride from the airport to the Resort may be a little cramped with the luggage, but after that it should be ok. I am hoping for something larger on the aisle as well, but not counting on it.

Did you also use the dc coupon? It should give you 1 free day. Do you know if your DC discount was 10% or 20%? Mine was 20% but it is only supposed to be 10%.

Make sure you bring all your printed information with you. You will have that as proof of the initial quote. At that point they should honor it if they question it.
