I received my first e-mail code! It's for Disneyland for the month of August and there's no way we can use it, though.

First of all, why would I get one for Disneyland? And since I did get one, does that mean I wouldn't get another code for WDW any time soon?

And in general, just how do they typically work and how often can you get them?

Completely random. Means you could not or could get one for WDW. You may also never get another email code again, or you could get them bouncing off you like crazy.

Honestly, its completely random, no rhyme or reason to it.

Was it 3 days 2 nights starting at $244? I received something like that a couple of days ago but assumed everyone received it.

Yes, that was it. Sorry, I got all excited getting my first e-mail from them, LOL!

I got the Disneyland one also. I read, re-read and re-read again that entire email trying to see if something was "hidden" in there that might help me get a great deal at WDW! :rotfl:

Not that I don't WANT to go to DL!!! :goodvibes In fact, we might make it out there next summer....I will have to recheck my email and find out how long that special is good for!

Me too...I have received mailers and e-mails recently re: Disneyland, the cruise line, and the vacation club. I am getting everything but what I really want (WDW)...someone throw me a bone!

I'm sure there's plenty of rhyme and reason to it.
It's just that none of us know what that rhyme and reason is and we haven't managed to infiltrate the Disney marketing department with one of our DIS spies yet. :smooth:

Someday We will CRACK that code!!!!!

I got one too....I thought everyone got it also.
